Default Official Sat 05/31/03 Tech Day post

I invite all the Norcal folks to my house for a tech day.

When: Saturday 05/31/03 11:00AM to whenever....
Location: PM me. But it's somewhere in the South Bay. BTW, I live in a caldacot so there should be plenty of parking...

Nothing too fancy, just a chance for everyone to get together and share their mechanical knowledge.
I have most of the basic tools as well as jack stands and a el cheapo jack. Bring any tools/ramp/etc. if you like. I'm sure someone will find uses for it. I will also have the service manual on a laptop for anyone that needs reference.

So far we have
Bulb change
making/installing grounding kit
check out failsaf3's suspension
car wash/detail (Remember to bring your own stuff... especially towels. I have 1 bucket and hoses.)

go ahead and reply to this post if you have any questions or issues you like to address. I'm sure someone will know how to do it.

BTW, I also have uncut video footage of the Ultimate Z weekend (SEMA girls.... need I say more) as well as some Z videos (thanks Moodie).

Oh yeah, we'll probably get everyone to pitch in and order some pizza for lunch. You're more than welcome to BYOB.

Since this is a public forum, I don't feel comfortable posting my address on here. PM me if you want to attend, I'll pm you back the address. Hope to see you all here!!

Disclaimer: I'm by no mean anything resembling to a mechanic.... and my garage is not approved by anywhere to be performing any type of automobile maintence. Thus you are here by your own will and own risk. With that said, You guys are all welcome to come!!

Yeah guys, same with me. (Me and s9am_me are cousins) I was looking forward to the meet too, with my new camera and all. But I guess until next time, I'll see you then.

I got PIAAs for everyone (Dave, Jason, and me). They're $20 a pair. A little more expensive, but quality is supposed to be better!! I got 2 sets of HID "look" and one set of Platinum HID "look". Too many different ones, and they said the Platinum has a slightly bluish white to it. Either way is fine with me, so your pick, guys.

Thanks Moodie- I'm cool with either- You should install the platinum since you went through the trouble to get them. BTW- Injen exhaust is scheduled to be delivered on Friday so guess what we'll be installing on my car on Saturday

Very cool, Jason.

You may put on some miles letting us ride in your car to check out the TEINS (for those who don't have it), the sways, and the Injen!!
