Default I think that depends on how many cars show up to race

If we can get anywhere between 35-50 cars would be great. On regular test an tune they charge $50 for 4hrs, which kinda sucks, but if the track is rented like we're trying to do it would be a longer event.

This event would be WAY different than the bracket drags that Sears Point offers. Most private events are around $100/car for 8 hours of prepped-and-controlled racing. I don't think it'll be that much at Sac, but figure $60-75/car for sure.

At Sears Wed night drags you may get 3 runs in, you may get 8. Luck of the crowd and your skill. At our event in Sac, I bet people get as many runs as they feel comfortable with putting on their car. 12, 15, maybe 25 if you go for it...

Not really. Late-Feb, if at all in Feb. We have to balance the weather (rain and cold) with availability. It has not been easy so far. Plus, Fowlman needs his SC to be done by then.

It looks like there are a few people going up to Sac on 2/16. This is not the "private" event that I've been working on, but it should be a good time to run. Sac has had some rain the last few Saturdays, so this Saturday will probably be quite crowded, leaving next Saturday a good option.

No, there is decent interest for a private, but I'm trying to balance Sac's schedule and availability for a private with the willingness of some fellow Z32-ers driving up from SoCal and locals from Z Car Garage, my350z, and tt.net to all go on a date that works. It'll happen, just not yet.

Ideally I'd give at least a month notice so everyone can get their ducks in-a-row. Plus, it makes sense to wait a little bit, as we found out that if it is too cold in Sac, they'll limit us to 1/8th mile. Now that is no fun in the unlikely event that it happens.

I believe there would be plenty of interest, espicially with the ZCG folks. The one month notice is a great idea and the prospect of running only an 1/8 mile when we rent the facility does not appeal to me. The notice would also allow for some flexibility to have as many of us show up as possible.
BTW: my Z should be finished sometime next week. I'd love to take it out and abuse it at the track.
