Default Horrible service in Morgan Hill

All I have to say is WOW!! I have never been anywhere that has been so unprofessional as "Fred's European Asian" in Morgan Hill. I had bought a set of BFG G-Forces the other day and needed them mounted to my Axis Hiros. After looking at tire rack for the reccomended installer "Fred's" was the closest. I called them up this morning to bring them by in an hour to mount them, the lady said that was fine so I went. This is when it all started, First of all I got 275/35/19 for my 19x9.5. The installer began to tell me that these tires will not fit the wheels. It took me ten minutes to convince him that they would fit and you have to be crazy to tell me otherwise. So Fred told me it would be 30 minutes, so I went to go get some breakfast and relax till they were done. I come back a half hour later and he tells me that he didn't do them cause it's going to cost $2 more because the tires were hard to get off. I said, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! YOU DIDN"T MOUNT THEM BECAUSE IT'S $2 MORE!! I told him $2 is not a good reason not to finish the job. So anyway I told him that was fine and how much longer it was going to be. He told me another half hour, so I left and just drove around town for a while and just checked stuff out till it was time to head back to the shop. I get back expecting the %^&$ to be done and guess what... The ^&*$ aint done. I ask the lady in the front office What the hell is wrong this time, she begins to tell me that the guy that was doing my tires decided to go to lunch for an hour. And this is the point where I just lost it with Fred, who was standing in the back of the shop. I told him "What the hell is going on? Your guy just decides to go to lunch in the middle of a job?" And he begins to give me $%#^ about how it doesn't matter. At this point i just tell him to give me my &%$#ing tires and wheels back and I'm going to another shop down the street to get them installed. I'm posting this to let people know in the south bay NEVER go to "Fred's European Asian" Absolutly horrible shop.

Actually I ended up going to "Monterey Auto" which is literally across the street. And what a difference in service. They said it would be done in 45 minutes, it was done in 30 minutes, and it was $20 cheaper. I told the guy at the front desk about my experience, his name is Bill, and he said that I'm not the first. He told me that Fred's got a huge ego and is hard to deal with. So in the end it ended up good!

His work area is actually nice, had a ferrari on the rack when I got there. But a nice shop is nothing when the service is crap!
