This was my first time seeing Datsuns/Z's on the dyno. Here is my 06 Z33:


249.67rwhp/230tq, JWT intake and Nismo exhaust

There were several other pre-'06 Z33's that dyno'd in the 240-ish range with test-pipes, plenum spacers/pulleys, etc,.

An '07 Z33 stock dyno'd at 260-ish but I didn't catch it.

I was really impressed with the dyno of your Z! It's no wonder you beat down our ZR! I'll have to dyno it at the next meet instead of the 300!

 

Right on. Mine dynoed at 242 with the mods in my signature. Anyone snap a pic of E-Z's car?

I wish I could have stuck around longer but I had somewhere else I had to be. I dynoed first and was getting an intermittant miss. Only got one clean run but only up to 5K RPM because it was kind of a test run. Running only 11psi it dynoed at 241 whp and 272 ft-lbs.

Thanks, I can't keep it off the rev limiter. Rob said he might try to get everyone out to Sears Point 3/19 to watch me abuse it a little. I hear you made the dyno smoke.

The only smoke was from the 510s and 240s! My ole' girl does ok for slapping some parts together! Hopefully I can make the drag day, although a Saturday at Sacramento will reward more runs...

 

Rob just talked about it yesterday. He wants to make sure he see's my engine blow up I guess. No.....he really wants to make sure that everything is fine under the conditions I put my Z through. I'm up for Sacto if it fits inot my schedule.

 

thats funny i ran into jack and yolanda at the chevy dealership later that day my dad was test driving the z06. we showed up and she was giving me a hard time for not being there lol. cool lady didnt sorry i couldnt make it, i was sleeping.
