Not sure.....it's self-adjusting, and i've been hot-lapping it.......the Nissan tech tells me it feels "different".......so i'm gonna have a new one slapped in when they R&R in a 2004 tranny......the last place i want my final shift to be is on the 1320

Besides, i'm gonna be in Portland.......i'll see if Max wants to meet you there

EJ can't make it and you laughed at all his clutch woes (none his fault) so I will go there and race you in my Auto (A5T.)

I am Max and my A5T is Blue with a kit.

What is your name and what car (color etc) will you be in?

Meet me just to the right of the pits by the restroom turn right instead of lining up and introduce yourself to me and then you can race a Z (mine.)

P.S. My 12.7 was with a vacuum leak on my new plenum because I missed two bolts inside the manifold from not RTFM.

So it will be faster but go easy on me. iT WILL ALSO BE HOT AS HELL.

Um, I wanted this to be friendly. I wasn't laughing at him, I just figured he bought a Z and drove it hard and tore out the clutch. We all do that to our cars. Wasn't meant to be mean.

Anyway, Im not 100 pct sure if i'm going. If its really hot I'm gonna stay away. Sorry to **** you off, I have a habit of doing that.

btw, your trap is almost as high as mine @ 12 psi so it would probably be a good race, except I run with street tires.

just ordered my clutch .......if my 2004 tranny gets in this week, i may have to cancel the Portland trip........i'm not too hard on my car......but i figure the hot-lapping plus the 22K miles i have on it, might mean it's time for a new clutch disc

when my clutch went (at 145K miles, original!!!) I put in an ACT street/Strip. I have beat that thing over the last year, with more than 80 runs at the drag strips, with no problems.

Single or Multi-disc?.......were you drag racing during the first 145K?

Its call act street strip clutch, it supporst upto 450 rwhp, which is more than enugh for me. I think its single disk but I dunno. I got my car at 137K (has 166K now). I dragged it 1 time with the original clutch.

I wasn't being mean, I just know that EJ is dealing with major issues at the dealership and laughing about that isn't cool (not just the clutch.)

I'm a friendly racer and very sporty when I lose. It happens we all lose.

We have roughly the same rwhp you have listed in your sig. You have a bit more torque, I have alot less weight. I weighed 2712 at SAC Raceway last time.

I'm hoping its not gonna be hot.

I dont mind racing you if I go, but my 60' will be about 2.23 on my wonderful Daytona tires, LOL. It would be more fun if I had slicks. I'll let you know if I go. I know another 7 that will be there, his car is like mine except his engine is not ported. He bring slicks and runs a 1.5-1.6 on his 60'. You may want to race him, hehe.

I raced the owner of the track Tony in his 11 second car with Channel 10 there and lost on camera no big.

If you are bringing in a ringer let's wait two weeks for my super charger.



Or he can race my buddy who does 135mph traps all throttle no bottle 11 sec car. Norcal LS1 Z28.
