at three the parking lot might still have a lot of cars actually there for shopping plus that is one of the only big lots for that whole stretch of shops

maybe a little later... I am down for an earlier meet though maybe five-ish

all those shops close at the latest six so it should taper off by then?

I will drive by a couple times this week and see what it looks like.

yea, but...

no means to disrespect, but it seems that no one took the initiative to throw out a day and time for a meet in emeryville...and because of this, srv and wc people on here appear to have accepted a compromise for danville since wc and srv are only 10 min away from each other by freeway (no traffic) and danville is dead in the middle.

id try to make it out to an emeryville meet, but there's no one speaking out for emeryville and that could also be because the original poster didnt put a deadline when voting would be done and a definite meeting spot for when it would be...im not hating, im just sayin how im seeing it right now

i just moved to the area and have no idea really where/what there is to do in these areas.....people asked me to make a poll, so i did....i guess someone else start a new thread about where to meet, etc....all i was really trying to do was get east bay more active since i asked a few people over here, and they said nothing's going on, etc....

 

I dont think JMW was saying anything towards you... more towards to ppl voting for emeryville to pick a spot they want to go to.

thanks for showing interest though! i for one never really thought about trying to get us rounded up.

 

hey just noticed the whole starbucks thing. there isnt any parking on that corner, unless we have a really weak turnout!

if there is a lot of interest for coffee based meet. there is a peets (or one of those companies) like two blocks down on the right from TJ's it has a pretty good sized lot, but right now there is construction so its cut in half. from the main road it looks like ther is no parking but just pass it and make a right and then an immediate right into the lot and go to the end.

 

correct indeed. if anything, im giving u mad props for stepping up to the plate in trying to get something started for the east bay. i ,too, never thought about making a gtg for the east bay so more power to you for throwing it out there and, evidently, getting a lot of people interested.
