Default July 12th, 2003 D&B Saturday Meet/Drive

July 12th, 2003 D&B Lunch Meet
WHAT: NorCal 350Z/G35 lunch meet and possible drive afterwards
WHEN:
DATE: Saturday July 12th, 2003
TIME: 11:30am
WHERE: Dave & Buster's Milpitas
940 Great Mall Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035
Phone: (408) 957-9215

It's been a while since we had another D&B meet. Actually, it's been a while since we had a meet at all. I'm planning on doing the Mount Hamilton Drive after lunch. (The full drive from SJ to Livermoor) We will head into D&B for lunch at noon. If you come by and don't see us outside, just park by the rest of the Z/Gs and come inside. Everyone is welcome.

Hope to see a bunch of you there!!!

Default Cool!

I think lunch should be cool then! I have a wedding to go to in the evening, so I probably won't go for the drive either!!

Too bad. The backside of Mt Hamilton (Observatory to Livermore)is a sweet drive- very little traffic, much smoother than the front side and much wider turns.
The front side is a bit brutal for me, but well worth the drive down the backside.

I wish I could join you guys, but I'm getting my car done for a CompuStar 2WFM-AS install. The guy told me it would take all day to finish it. I wanted to have this done first before installing the Injen exhaust and intake.

That's pretty cool- but dont you park your car in gear? If so then how do you start it remotely?

I park my car in gear like 50% of the time. I just hope the parking brakes don't fail on me. The remote starter feature uses some sort of relay that determines if the car is in gear. If it is, it won't start the car, I think. I'll have a better understanding tomorrow if things go smoothly.

Doesn't John have one of these? I could swear I have seen one of those bomb detonator looking things on his keychain

Hey, for those of you that can't make it on the drive afterward, just come out to lunch and check out Moodie's and Jason's car.... lots of goodies on those!! I wish I could say the same for mine, but mine is still bone stock..
Do have something minor in the works though... Hopefully it'll be done before the Z by the Bay...

Dave,
Besides the grounding kit, I have Injen exhaust and intake still in their boxes sitting in my apartment. My appointment has been set up for 10:30am. Jason's and Moodie's car definitely have major goodies!!!

Dave- Well it looks like we're going to have a lackluster turnout, again (sorry guys, but true). Is there any chance we can get those Bimmer and S2K guys to come out for the drive. That run we did a few weeks ago with those guys was pretty sweet. BTW is your bro coming? Did he get his Bilsteins installed?

Yeah, I can check if I can get some of those guy to come out to the meet. I can check with my bro if Heather'll let him out to play...
The bilstein is still sitting in the garage... he's still waiting for this plastic ring that bilstein is sending to him. Should be cool once he get's those installed.

Let me go post this on the G35 board... maybe we can get a few more...
