Saw a Slammed Silver 350z yesterday around 6:30 on Camden ave, right after the 85 exit, dude was wearing sunglasses with windows rolled down.

Silverstone Z with tinted taillights northbound 101 around 6pm. Barely avoided an accident. I was in the Yaris behind you.

Beautiful RED Z (lowered, exhausted, front air dam mods, eyelids) following then passing when I pulled to right on 17 to exit - over summit from Los Gatos to Santa Cruz.

We thumbs upped. I was driving my Black Nismo.

Funny, rarely visit the Nor-Cal Regional section on the forum. And apparently, no one else does either as mine was the only sighting post in last two months. (Then again, I've not posted anything either despite seeing a few nice Zs around of late.)

Only reason I notice and mention this is that over on the Volvo "R-Forum", one of the most active threads on there is the "sightings" thread. Those guys take their sitings SERIOUSLY. I mean, they can tell what year, what interior, whether it's an manual or auto trans car just from passing! Kinda weird and a little creepy...

But you know what's odd about this? I see more Volvo Rs than Zs!

Anyhow, hope to see more Zs out and about!

 

im probably going to the cars and croissant meet on saturday at santana row. Ill bring the nismo out too! come! parking in the performance section unless they allow me in which they probably wont lol

 

Too bad... I won't be around (SCCA Double Regionals at Mazda LSIR - one of the last qualifying events for Runoffs). Funny though, I live not more than 7 mins from Santana Row and refuse to go to car events there. If it's anything like the "normal automobile traffic" there (guys with expensive iron and guys who think they have expensive iron, all revving their engines to try and pick up women). Rather comedic.

I go there to eat all the time but just don't think I have it in me to drive any of my cars other than to just go and park in the garage.

Next time around though. I think the ZONC get together in Brisbane is still on.... August I wanna say. May head there to check out all the Type-N madness!

yea the crowd can be pretty douchey. But they have some nice cars on display as they close off the row for the exotics to park. Its actually a pretty decent event. Leaving and coming is a different story as you said idiots revving and being obnoxious.

ZONC i went to last year or the year before. The turnout isn't that great for 350z but they have an incredible showing of 240/260/280z which i thoroughly enjoy (i have a 74' 260z as well)

Anyways have fun, maybe ill see you around. Surprised I haven't already since I've been seeing a lot of 350z nismo editions rolling around recently. Red, white, silver, black the whole rainbow!!!

 

Where are you seeing the Nismos?? I don't think I've seen a Nismo since I got mine. Even before that while rolling around in my '03 or any of our other cars, haven't seen a single one, come to think of it.

 

I see em every couple months. One in Oakland, one near page mill exit off 280, another roaming around my home in campbell, seen a black one on 101 near SF at night. Couple times Ive seen em just sitting in parking lots in south bay like cupertino and santa clara

I guess im pretty good at spotting cars lol.
