CS parked in San Mateo parking lot of Left Bank(restaurant) in the Franklin Templeton campus. Anyone work in the area?

 

I was heading no. and a CS passed me at 4:40pm heading south on Pet Hill Rd at Yolanda in SR. I flashed lights and I think he waved.

 

CS going eastbound on San Fernando, crossing Market, in downtown San Jose at 5:30pm today.

 

Last night (Monday), saw a CS on 580W towards the Richmond Bridge, older lady with glasses and white permed hair. ~7:30pm Earlier that evening, saw the PPW that I have seen once before on Hilltop Dr going towards the 80 freeway. Had the Nismo wing and deep dish rims that I couldn't readily discern in terms of type. Injen exhaust.

Tonight, saw the SS that is always on the lower deck of the Jtown garage (the guy that works there) and a LS on the upper deck. ~9:30pm

 

CS yesterday (Wednesday) at about ~4:50pm or so on 80E. Old Asian female with short hair. Didn't even look my way. Of course.

 

PPW in Emeryville. You were turning into Ikea and I was stuck in traffic going the other way Just saw you as your light turned green.

 

CS in Sunnyvale, 4pm on El Camino eastbound turning onto Wolfe northbound (I was continuing on El Camino).

 

CS at the Discount Tires parking lot in WC around 3pm; another CS in the Dublin shopping center (the one with the Imax theater) at 6PM.. I parked clear across the frigg'n center - going to dinner at Meme's.

 

Hey Brian....if it wasn't for the cell phone call I was on, you'd be seeing my tail-lights on the Richmond Parkway today rather than vice versa.

 

So that was you, huh? I've seen you on the road once before... that is, identifying you from your front license plate in my rearview.

 

Yep.....that was me. The only Z in the state of California with a from license plate, compliments of the dealer. The dealer I asked specifically not to install front plates.

I live off the Parkway, near the Richmond Country Club. What were you doing in my hood? We have enough Z's here already!

 

Hey man, I'm one of ya buddy. Been in Richmond for a little over a year now.

I have the drill holes too, but I still refuse to put on the front plate. Got mine at Ellis Brooks in SF on Van Ness. Which dealer did you get yours from?

 

Welcome to beautiful Richmond! There are three Z's in my neighborhood alone.

Boy....where did I get my car. Long story. I went to a dealer in my hometown in Illinois in November of 2001. The GM and I shook hands on a deal that would get me their first Z at sticker.

Little did I know three months later Nissan would come out with the pre-order program and force the dealers to keep down the mark-up. I paid a $1000 to have my Z transported out here in September 2002. Could have got the same deal at Hanlee's about two miles from my house!!

Makes for a great story though. Just passed 5,000 miles on Sunday after 18 months of driving.

 

SS ZR parked on the side of Bascom near Woodard in Campbell tonight, around 1:10am.

 

pointfivezero who else is in the Rich? I know one of the first I saw was the Lemans that was at the Best buy. Either they sold it or moved on.

I have the Brick but I am usually on the Pkway at night and mid morning.

Hell we should have a mini richmond meet....after i wash my ride.

 

Don't you know the washing your car will produce rain? It's a law of physics. Works every time for me.

I do remember seeing the LeMans at Best Buy. You're right, haven't seen it for awhile. There is also a CS Z in downtown Point Richmond every Saturday morning near my breakfast spot.

my350z member, ARVIN, lives down the street from me. I have never met the other Z owner in our neighborhood but I think a mini-meet would be cool.

Yeah, arvin lives just a stones throw away from me, thus making Tim and I relative neighbors. OK, maybe a long throw, but less than a couple minutes between or so.

Tim, lemme guess.... not your daily driver, huh? 5K miles... I'm almost at 6K and I use my Z as my DD. P/U in May '03.

I remember the LS at BB also... I think that was the first Z that I ever saw in person.... funny, I didn't think I was going to get one though.

 

3 Z sightings during my commute... CS on 680S (near Durham Exit)... then 2 on Tasman SS with nice rims... on Tasman & McCarthy... and a new DB on Zanker turnin on Tasman....

 

Hey I used to work in Pt Richmond. I miss Grest America burgers.

The whole hilltop area has changed a lot since we used to hit the In And Out there.

And my Z came from Hanlee's as well...
