Saw a Redline with nice rims along Union Ave this morning getting onto 85N in Campbell Area.

 

Saw a SS in Palo Alto at 8:30 am going west on Embarcadero right near 101. I was the SS going opposite, east on Embarcadero.

 

OK... i see alot of Z's but the ones ive seen dont seem all too friendly... 2 in San jose 2 in hayward and 4 in pleasanton... only one said wsup and gave a thumbs up... (one from pleasanton)

Is it just me... maybe ( or maybe my car has NEWBIE written all over it... or BASE... haha)

 

I have to agree with you, I see alot of Z's too (not recently though) and they're not too friendly. I wave to say "Hi" and people don't respond. I don't give up though, I still try.

 

I'm usually driving to fast to look over and say hi. You know how bay area drivers love to slam on thir breaks.

 

Yea, I agree. And when they do look over they look pissed off because we're driving the same car. When I'm driving my 91 Z32 & see other Z32's they flash their lights, wave, honk and basically go out of their way to say hi. I don't get it. Why are Z33 drivers so rude?

 

That is true, for about 1/2 to 2/3 of people that I see. I usually honk and stare.... that usually elicits some sort of wave or similar response. Still have yet to see any my350z members though...

 

I either wave, give a thumbs up or the peace sign, or nod when when both hands are too busy. Sometimes, I don't do anything because I'm either too busy paying attention to the road or i don't see them, especially on the streets. Whenever I see one the freeways, I stay w/ them side by side and honk.

 

Again... i saw a SS (like mine) on Calaveras Blvd. in Milpitas and catch up to them to say hi... and..... Nothing... like talking to a wall... its all good...

this weekend... imma drive around NAPA area and enjoy the weekend...

 

Z-Incog, did you get the person's attention? And if you did, did they just look at you or something?

saw a z yesterday on the 101 behind me, pulls up to side and waves, i wave back, he exits university ave.

 

That might have been me. I was on my way to work at around 8:30am on 101 south. I was the silverstone Z with no plates (only had my car 3 weeks). You have a silverstone too right?

Saw a SS with dealer plates coasting up on the carpool lane on 80E at about 8:40pm on Friday night (by the San Pablo Ave exit). Tearing it up at least past 80MPH.

There was a blown truck tire in the road on 80E between Emeryville and Berkeley... I managed to hit it and now my front bumper is all gouged and scratched up because of the steel threads....

Saw blured350 in the Jtown garage tonight with a mad crowd of Zs, S2Ks and some G35s... that was a cool surprise although I musta missed the posting about the run... didn't run with them, cuz' my g/f wanted to eat at Isobune.

 

Ahh... business before pleasure... and by business, i mean FOOD and your Significant Other... hehe (i dont blame u)
