With your new S.C. you'll be able to keep up with M5 at 160 no problem this year. You'll might be looking at the other cars in your rear view mirror.

I might go, if I can get some of my guys to attend. Actually I just noticed that this event is right after the JDM event. 2 in a row??

 

When Yolanda and the ZONC Group put it together, I'm going, if it's Black Hawk, Laguna Seca, Hearst Castle. They always do a good job. I'm definitely in Quinn. Ill go for the day, like last year. The drive is fun. Gabe and I went last year and we did a tour, which was great. Yeah, Gabe, I'm even more ready with the car this year. Should be fun. If you can get some of the NSX's to go, that would be neat. You need to go anyway, just because I am. Quinn, I'm going to add this to our run coming up and see if any of those guys want to go also. If we get interest on our local thread, I'll start up a thread and make times for departure, etc. I can check with Yolanda on the ZONC plans and work ourselves into them.

 

What exactly does this event entail? What is Hearst Castle? Is this a mountain run or what? More event info would be nice.

 

Bill and I went last year, we drove ALL back roads twisty fun NO traffic, stopped halfway had a nice lunch and drove the rest of the way down (due to back roads and twisty takes a bit longer than a straight path!) We got a hotel and then we all eat and talk cars for a couple of days, and then drive back. We got a slammin deal at Hotel Morgan this year like 85 a night. Hearst Castle is the legacy of Hearst Millionaire. You can tour his mansion on the coast. We did not do it last year we might this year, not sure if want to yet though... We might just go for drives and site see.... Last year we meet at Zcar garage as a group for the drive. Fantastic weekend!

 

Talked to Quality Inn today and we still have 5 packages left. Once they are filled you can still reserve just a room and would need to purchase your Hearst Castle tickets if you wish to go via the internet or at the castle. Either way, we are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Just booked mine tonight, they said there was only 1 king bdrm left. They have a few left with dbl queens. I took one of the dbl queens.

Bill and I are staying at "The Morgan" not far from Quality Inn and 85 a night, they have an internet special where you stay two nights and get 20% discount, better than my AAA discount.... Just an FYI incase Quality Inn gets booked up. If you want to go to the hearst castle tour you can purchase tix seperatly.

I spoke with the z car crew they said they are joining us for this run, should be fun... They also said the GTR from shop would be joining.

 

^ Nice, the more the merrier. I am going to have to leave at about 7:30 am to meet John in FF, then onto the ZCG. Np, I am a early bird riser.
