On the 6-7, Im thinking of setting up shop while I detail my ride. Or I might fork out the $75 to reserve but it might take away from the hot dog funds. Im going back during my lunch break and talk to the staff once more as it looks like we might get a bigger turnout than what I originally expected.

 

Hey if you want, I can switch up to bringing hotdogs/buns instead of sodas since looks like a few more people are bringing drinks too.

 

That might work. I will let you know in an hour or two. Im going to talk to the staff and see what the deal is with the amount of people coming. None of the spots are reserved yet and Im thinking they might cut us a break with the 25 people cap without reserving.

 

Looks like we are a go - just need to figure out what we're bringing. Pls move us from pending status into fo sho... We might need to sneak out for a test-drive. I LOVE driving the car now. Very entertaining!

Bill and I can either bring some BIG packages of Dogs and Buns from Costco or chip in Moola, whats your favor? Also we have coolers and grill (portable) let me know. Also if you guys have chairs bring them and also I have a shade pop up I can bring.

 

I will have to get back to you on this one. Ed and I are going to Costco in a few and grab whatever $100 bucks buys. The coolers would be great but I would hate for you guys to stink up your rides with the grill. If the Shade isn't too bulky that would be a cool thing to have to keep the perishables out of the sun.

I will get a list up tonight with what we will still need.

I spoke to staff and they said the last day to reserve was yesterday and we can no longer opt to buy the alcohol permit because we have no reservation, so the "NO ALCOHOL" rule still stands. However they told me that the spot I am looking @ can hold 50 people but we can have 35 (its only 5 or 6 8ft tables anyway).



What does this mean?



-It means that this does not necessarily mean we can have 35 cars unless its 1 person per car.

-I need to know you + how many (Z's only hold 2 people but the G's hold 4) so we can maintain an accurate count.

-This BBQ is only for Z & G drivers and nobody else due to capacity restrictions (I will consider friends in their own cars if we have open spots).

-If you are a member here and plan on coming without your ride then it is a must that you notify myself or Ed (sid67jp) so we can weed out those that don't belong.

I'll be coming with my sister ... damn that doesn't sound right. But probably be driving her lil mini cooper since my Z's in the shop. Dropped by Williams today to check on my car and he said he might be interested too though all our members' cars are keeping him busy. Not sure if that makes a difference.
