I was fairly shocked to hear from my tax person that the state will issue IOU's for the state income tax returns. I was pretty pissed off and wondered where my tax money had gone? What are the people in the state legislature doing? To me, they are not doing a darn thing for us while earning a 6 figure income. Do you guys feel the same way as I?

 

Relax bro, it's just temporary. As soon as the state legislature decides how they will spend this year's budget, state tax refunds will be disbursed. It's just so the politicians can figure their **** out before disbursing tax refunds. They're not taking your money. You'll still get your state tax refund in a couple of months tops.

Your federal tax return will still be just as on time as it is every year.

I think that they are doing a horrible job and their salaries should be cut. Why is it okay for California to give us IOU's but if we are late they levy our bank accounts and hold our wages until they are payed in full? IMO, our hard earn tax dollars has gone to pay for the luxuries that the state legislature supposedly use for business. And I'm sure we all know that didn't quite happen. I am pretty sure the people from Sacramento used our tax dollars for things other than business. In addition, our state used more than it can afford to pay for things that aren't even necessary. I honestly think that its time to change to a governor who can actually do the job.

 

it's not a racist remakr. It's the fact. Fast time I checked, illegal immigrant parents can have 5 or 6 kids in the US and they all are US citizens. You danm right they do qualify for welfare.

 

Im moved to cali last year and I can't wait to move back to honolulu. At least our crooked politicians keep the state funded. California tries too hard to please everyone and ends up screwing everyone in the process. If you dont believe me look at rent control, this is a prime example of trying to do the right thing for the good of the people and destroying entire communities. If there were no rent controls the market would set the its own caps on rent, if it were too high to sustain low income wage earners they would leave, causing businesses to have to reach further for workers and thus trying to attract more employees by raising pay and incentives. If the road to hell is paved in good intentions california is swimming in the lake of fire.

You guys will get your money probably after April 15th sometime. I know State and Fed together will have at least $2,200 for sure by then.

 

One: Illegals have kids in USA. They become U.S. Citizens by way of birth.
Two: Due to low income and being U.S. Citizens, they qualify for free medical services (CALIFORNIA = Medicaid).
Three: If kid has any disability with birth, i.e. premature birth, physical or mental underdevelopment, they get "Supplemental Security Income (SSI), $907 per mo.
But....Four: The illegal parents get nothing and that is the correct statement, they do not get any money, but they can get free medical by going to the County Hospitals, as any low income people can do.
Note: Other states such as Texas, Illinois, Florida, Missouri, etc. only pay $674 per mo though. Only California pays the $907 per mo. per child.
This you can easily verify with the Dept of Social Services, as they run the Medicaid Program and Social Security as they run the Supplemental Security Income Program.
