Tomorrows the big day.

However For those who have signed up for the Nissan Competition, i regret to let you know that I had to pull the plug on the the Karting competition, But encourage everyone including those to participate in the the 10 laps for $10 deal. We needed 5 more confirmed. Maybe next year.


We are set to go. I'm excited. I hope you are too.

 

Dam, my car will not be ready for tomorrow. Sideskirts just barely came in. I'll still be there though.

 

Was there a group discount? Why can't the rest of us just do their full event (practice, qualifier, sprint)?

We needed at least 15 people confirmed to reserve for the full event because the competition shuts the track down from the public for 2 hours.

LeMans will still be servicing general public and not just us all day, since they are a business they would like to make money and the 10 people didn't meet there minimum.

Sorry guys. The competition price was $50 per person, which usually includes practice laps, 2 heats, and a final.

 

I will try but not sure because I have work until 5 pm.

 

The competitions (practice, qualify, sprint race) is still only $60 for non-members and $50 for members. The 11 of us could still do it depending on their availability. That's a full group. . . just no $10 discount for the non-members, and would still be very fun.

 

You can try, but from my experience with karting facilities, to do a comp, you need to give the facility a notice ahead of time to block out the time.

As for the official Nissan Comp, its off this year.

 

I made it out after all.......squeezed in some time in between my commitments. I am glad I did, this was a blast. I did not get around to say hey to everyone but the peeps I did make it to, it was a pleasure.

Dave, Lawrence, good seeing ya again .....hey I even got in on the TD photo op...woot..woot...what an honor. Got my TD T-Shirts, bet Dave was glad to get these out of his trunk....Hey Dave they smelled a little like gasoline and oil...using them as rags for clean up.....j/k...they were perfect. btw that was my car alarm going off a couple of times.....and not intentionaly...but is was an attention getter....lol

I went at 5 as promised and it was empty, except for a few civics, haha. Oh well, in for pics!

 

geez..that sukx....there must have been over 100 cars there. We left about 3:00 pm and it was starting to disperse slowly.

** The meet was pretty chill, didn't get a chance to stay to long just took coverage and bounced. GF wasn't feelin to good. But overall the meet was pretty crackin'. Enjoy the pics! Sorry it's not much, forgot to charge the battery. I know FAIL ha.
