Default Newcomer to San Jose area

Hey guys, i am actually moving out to San Jose on october 10th to compete in the next couple drift events. i will be living around there for the next 8 months, year, 84 years, who knows. But i dont know of any cool spots to go to, good roads to drive on, or where to buy shampoo for that matter. Just seeing if anyone around there wants to get together sometime when i get settled in and have some fun.

Well, there's Santana Row, which is the newest development. It's pretty cool, if a little pricey. There's always lots to do, as long as it's before 2am. And there're so many Z people here you'll be in heaven!

Tropics- welcome to the bay area. As far as driving roads there's plenty. Hwy 9, Hwy 35, Hwy 84 and pretty much anywhere in the Santa Cruz mountains. The back side of Mt Hamilton, which is in the hills to the east of San Jose. Hwy 237 east of Milpitas.

As far as night life- you really need to go up to the city (San Fran). There is stuff to do in SJ but much better in SF.

Speed Ring indoor go kart racing in Santa Clara is always fun

Check the boards here and come out to our next meet. As far as shampoo you're on your own.

Hi Topics, welcome home!! You will definatly love the weather here year round. It doesn't get that cold in the winter.
Can you tell us about these drift events? I know some of us would like to see that, maybe participate.
