Been here a long time and most of the OGs have long moved on to different cars but I'm still here on 350z #2. Now I'm just a daily lurker.

I was rear ended by a taxi cab on 101 south by San Mateo. Got the final estimate today and it came out to be $8K in damage. Glad I didn't settle with the guy directly.

I need some stock parts! Stock rear exhaust, rear clear turn signals, and 06+ rear LEDs. Let me know if you have any of this stuff you want to get rid of.

Chad(karmamag) and I were wondering . . . how many of us have been rear ended in your Z? This is my 2nd time.

Just got mine out of the repair shop from being rear-ended a month ago at a tick under $8K.
Still in therapy with my neck and shoulders (whiplash). Wife got it too.

Sorry no oem stuff cuz I'm a G35. First time rear-ended in mine and hope never again...

I'm very surprised they didn't consider totaling it since $8K is a LOT to fix up. Apparently it takes a lot of punishment to total a Z. Hope everything works out man.

Yeah, I got rear ended once very recently, when some jackass following me too closely on an exit ramp to downtown San Francisco. I braked to get off the freeway and this ***** had the nerve to honk...and then I felt a sharp jolt as I was hit in the left of my rear bumper. I unintentionally drifted to the side and my right front bumper hit the guardrail of the offramp, causing $4,500 in damage. The worst part is it was a hit-and-run and I didn't catch the other car's plates, so I had to pay a $500 deductible.

And no, they still haven't caught the mofukker. I'm getting real pissed just writing about it.

 

Sorry to hear that bro. I got rear ended not too long ago as well. Some lady let go of her brakes behind me at a red light. Left a slight indentation, I hate these stupid drivers.
