Default OT - Discount Golf range / courses in south bay area?

I'm trying to get back into tennis and golf again. Coming from Colorado, the fees around here seems expensive. I use range a large bucket (100 *****) for $5 in Denver. Its like double that here, even at the city municipal courses.

Anyone know of some discount range or courses in the south bay area?

I'm guessing most things are a little more expensive than you might be used to. To answer your question more directly though, no, there is nothing I would consider a "discount" range or practice facility.

Which have you been going to? San Jose Muni?

Good luck finding discounted rates for range *****. Not gonna happen unless you know someone that works there. When and if you do, hit me up.

Not really a discount range but Pin High gives you $1 off if you go there before 8am on any bucket size. Also if you get a free range card from them and charge $20 or more each time you get 10% additional credit, so your $20 becomes $22. A regular priced large bucket there is $10 for 120 *****.

Tennis courts I'm sure you won't have any problem finding those around here if you play during daylight. But if you want lit courts go to Cuesta in Mt.View, there are 12 courts that are lit until midnight. The courts come with a fee but if you play after 7:30pm then they are free.

Let me know if you want to hit some *****, golf or tennis. I won't mind showing you around, but I'm out of the country until August. GL

Ya, I was referring to the San Jose one. There might be one in sunnyvale near El Camino that is $8 for a large, but I haven't confirmed it. If I find any coupons/discount cards, I'll post it on here.

My handicap was pretty high last I played so I do have some practicing before hitting the course. I heard at work that there is a coupon book with buy 3 green fees and get 4th free coupons for this area. Havent confirmed that either yet.

I think you're referring to Sunken Gardens. There is also Pruneridge near San Tomas Expressway and Pruneridge Ave I think and Rancho Del Pueblo near King Rd; that place is ok and MAY be cheaper given it's location... Pin High that someone mentioned is cool because you can practice on grass.
