Ok my friend Sumo who works for 76 Cool Blue Racing Gas set up this thing with the Travel channel/ Discovery Channel for a special to be called "Kings of the Road". There will be cars, trucks and motorcycles featured in the special and we will be one of the segments. Its being posted all over on many message boards. Come check it out. Sorry if this is a repost. I have been working with travel channel/Discovery for a special they're going to have called "Kings of the Road"....

They have asked if i can post on some boards to see if i can get a buttload of people this upcoming thursday night to do what we do. They are going to be selectively interviewing people on camera, and also taking alot of shots of the cars we have here in california.

They are making a documentary about the Life/Culture/and the modifications we do with our imports. Now this is serious ladies and Gentlemen... This show will not be focusing on how we terrorize the streets, its about the passions of why we do it and to show everyone in the world what we can do with our Imports.

They will bring a Beta Crew out to film and everything. Please leave the ghetto behavior at home! We do not need people showing up doing burnouts and such for that will ruin everything that i will be setting up for all of us.

For those that are being filmed of interviewed, you will be asked to sign a waiver saying it is alright for them to use the coverage when they release this 2 hour special.

FYI......Kings of the road is not only focusing on imports. They have divided into sections.... Bikes, lowriders, Trucks, etc. . . I have been fortunate to have been contacted by them to help them capture our community.

You are more than welcome to post this thread in other forums. In fact, i would appreciate it if you would...Spread the word and i hope to see you all on thursday.

6:30pm at Fremont off mission by the lion plaza. This is the exit for 680/880. I guess we can grab in&out over at pleasanton. This should give us enough time for the traffic as well as shooting the breeze. Let's get a head count so we don't leave anyone behind.

unfortunately the dealer washed my car.... Hopefully he didn't wax it. If he did, I guess it's time to claybar the car and reapply copious amount of Zaino again.

I should be able to make it to Lion Plaza just after 6:30. I'm also hoping that I *can't* make it, though, as I'm hurting for sales. Speaking of which, going totally OT, I hope Arnold carries through on the pledge to scale back the registration fee. Maybe then business at the dealership will pick up again.

 

Maybe because of its closer proximity to Infineon (Sears Point)...

 

I'll try and make it. Im going to be in San Jose until about 6:00.

If im not there by 6:30, then go on without me. I may just head up there and meet you guys.
