Sunny, glad you had a great time, it was the best run I have organized. Tops last years run. If this is any indication of the years to come, they will get better every year.

Can't wait to see the pics and video. Were you in the Outlaws group? I was only able to see thru the rear view mirror at the long snake of cars. I am waiting for my co-pilot to finish post processing his photos. I have about 800 to sort thru, so it will be awhile before I upload.

Be patient, I will get em uploaded. Grace is fast uploading pix. Jim with the 40th Anniv Z34 posted some up on (the 3 70 z) forum. I will see about linking them here.

Hey Jun (willow350) you were not the only peep from m y 35 0 z forum to attend, Sunny was there.

Great turn out!

This years run topped last year, allot more people and we could not have asked for better weather. The people really made this run!

Some came as far north as Chico, Santa Rosa and from the west, Oakland, south bay area and as far east as Reno. Met allot of new friends and caught up with old friends.

The food at both restaurants was delicious and the roads were absolutely in great condition. Very little traffic and overall we pretty
much had the road to ourselves.

Thanks to everyone that made the run. I will be hosting the run in 2011.

Pics soon.

And the 1st car on the right is mine (Lincoln Continental) aka the hoop-dee.

Jun, sry I missed this post first time around. Thanks, I tried to make it smooth for all with no worries, just follow the car in front of you, type run. The last photo stop where the river comes up to a reservoir and looks like a lake was our last slow breather, from there on the road became one big sweeper after another for the next 15 miles.

It was a somewhat a relief when Chaz up front in the Outlaw group had called me and then bam...you know who showed up...Anywho a relief that they were distracting them away from us and we got to go ***** out. The blk 240SX with the vette engine was sure hanging with me the entire way, then again I was only going 50-65 percent ballz. I was checking out my new stance and sways, so I did not want to push it, plus I had a co pilot.

All in all we all got to hit the pedal to the metal and it was planned for that part of the road/run. I always keep an eye out on the later apex of the curves as I had my run in last year and was not as lucky as the Outlaws.

Tons of fun this time around!

Pix soon?

Yes, very good planning. We really were dancing with that road. It was such a great drive. I checked out other forum you mentioned. Great pics. I'll keep an eye on this thread for pics and vids.

Curtis - I am not sure who was apart of the Outlaw group lol, I was with Jun and the guy in the light bluish 370Z for most of the run. .

The run was a blast, I loved the scenery. Oh and did anyone mention the food lol!? Loved the BBQ Buffet..those ribs my god.. I went to bed at 1 am the morning of the run so I was completely out of energy. .next time I'll rest up. It was a little hot but the weather was still very much perfect. At one point basically everyone was going 85ish - 90ish through the turns in the hills and my co pilot took a video just for fun, once he uploads that I'll post it lol I have yet to watch it.\

By the way on the caravan back to sac you and hal were blazing!! Me Jun and the other 300Zx's were having a little fun on the highway

Jun - I have been searching for some CAI's the past few days. They are all roughly in the 390 - 500 area. I've narrowed it down to InJen, AEM, and Stillen G3. .Like you said the Injen ones dont seem to be carb legal so it'll be hard to go with those but the Stillen G3 look great but I have yet to check if they are carb legal. I am phoning Nissan today to see how much they sell them for. Hopefully I'll have some installed by the time of the next run. It was nice meeting you as well, have any mods planned for the future?

I cannot make the next one to Cache Creek but you guys were talking about a run in august which sounds great. I'll definitely try to make that one and next years Feather River Run for sure!! Now I'm off to go look at the pics on 370z!

Don't get from dealer. Usually, you will get a better deal from vendors here. PM some of them and see who give you the best deal. Yes, I will be getting BBK and smaller/lighter wheels. I may rock stock rims for awhile. I realize 19 inch is not for me. Too heavy.

Sunny, thanks for the kind words. I too had the best tine on this run. It's top dawg in my book. Tong was in the blue 370Z. We did not see any of you guys after Truckee; we had the blue G35 and the 240SX with vette engine with us. nade it back to Roseville by 10:00 pm. I-80 sucked for about 5 miles with the pitted road from snow chains. It rattled the paint (about the size of a dime) off my grill.

I heard Eli (white 300ZX TT) that was part of the Outlaws got pulled over on hwy 20 and got a ticket.

Def hot that day and if not hydrated it would drain ya. I was toast in the morning due to very little sleep the 2 previous nights.

I had heard the Injen for the 07-08 Z33's are very good HP wise, plus they mount up by the hamburger.

Sry you cannot make the Brunch Casino Run on July 10. Hopefully see ya on the next run.

Slow on the pix, due to issues with my photobucket account. So I will be using a new server to host my pix - Picaso.

May have to put off the pix until after the Brunch Casino Run. Sry guys. I will try and to post up some teaser pix.

My co pilot and very good photographer was just accepted to some fancy Art school in San Francisco, dropped off his pix and they are astounding.

True statement, pm some vendors. They are more likely to give deep discounts with a pm vs publically announced price.

BBK - In for the pix!

Hello,

I figured I would make a forum name and post some of the pictures myself. Just to help Curtis out a little.

Lets try this out.

You can also just go to the full gallery at http://picasaweb.google.com/Naivetee...atherRiverRun#

Also, if you enjoy a photo or several. Prints are available, you can email me at naivetee@gmail.com Please put "ZCarRide" somewhere in the subject line so I dont think its spam.

Thank you.
