i opened up my eclipse headlights. its kinda hard. all i used was my hair dryer and a lot of screwdrivers to pry it open. like you, i'm too scared to touch my z lights as the replacements are pricey. i know someone in socal has successfully converted the housing from silver to black (although it wasn't that noticable in the pics). i know rsx owners are doing this as well, might wanna check out clubrsx and see how they open up their lights. good luck.

Well you can message me on AIM if that help.

I done black housing for 6th/7th gen Accords,6th/7th gen Civics and I have to admit. Working on the Z is a *****, but since I done it quite a few times it have gotten a lot easier.

If I remove my bumper again, I will post some step-by-step pics. How does that sound? and yeah I know my pid didn't help a lot.
