Wassup guys. I've had a year long problem regarding some copper wires from my MAF pigtail becoming messed up that resulted in my car sometimes shutting down randomly at times. I've been looking for a MAF pigtail all over my350z but not many people had some. I even went to the dealership and they said they can try rewiring the old pigtail but they weren't even sure if they could do it and they said it would cost up to $600. WTF right? Well yesterday morning, I went to school driving my car with no problems. After leaving school heading back home, my car starts bogging like crazy in 1st and 2nd gear. I couldn't go past 20mph or my car would jump like crazy. Pulled over and popped my hood finding out that copper wires from the MAF pigtail were finally completely out of its socket resulting in sending bad signals to my ECU. Thank God I go to San Jose State and Z Car Garage was only like 5-10 min away so I literally drove 10mph holding up traffic behind me. I talked to Rob there and he said he would work on the car today. I was thinking I would of got charged A LOT and they wouldn't finish fixing the problem until the end of the week. Turns out, Rob and Z Car Garage was able to do it within 2-3 hours and fixed the problem for cheap too! I couldn't be any happier. Car finally runs strong just as it did when I first got it. Props to Z Car Garage!
