Man, I'm gonna miss out on this one. Going to LA tomorrow. I really wanted to show on this event. I emailed them my info and everything, except for payment. Haha

Those of you that are going. Make sure you don't draw too much attention to yourselves. Those that may recall the Motoring J Style event a few years ago. A lot of cars were pulled over/cited by local PD (CHP was staked out on the highway too) after the event.

Think Fremont and what happened at the OBX Open House even earlier this year.

I'm not saying anything will happen .. but car enthusiast friendly isn't a term that is commonly applied to the area ..

I figure it's better to warn you before the event .. than post something regarding my memory of past actions.

The venue isn't FREE. I'm sure the organizers had to come up with $$$ for rent, insurance, permits, etc ...

 

if cops are doing all that im suprised pepple go,anyone have any bad luck?

 

Not a single sign of cops there. The closes thing to cops were the security guards with guns, and they didnt bother anybody
