Tinting... did someone do 20% in the back, and 35% on the sides? I want to see some pics!

 

I think everyone did 50 front / 20 side/back

I actually have 20 in the back and 32 in the front. Did the tint about a year ago. I promise to bring my car to the next 350z meet

 

Have you ever been hassled by the cops for the 32 in the front? or do you roll em down most of the time?

 

my tint is peeling already- drivers side window down in the corner by the rear view mirror. I need to call Chad so I can schedule an appointment to get the drivers side redone.

Does anyone know how to disable the ****ing auto-down when you open the door?

 

that sucks!!! mine seems to be ok so far. but i think i'll look again tonight. gonna go to chad's again on saturday (for rsx's tint) so maybe i'll see ya there!

Yes, just talked to Chad, looks like I will be spending another Saturday with you, Les and Chad.

 

They were suppose to take the fuse out or something so it doesn't roll up and down. Vince taped my window buttons so I wouldn't accidently bring them down while they were drying. Since my windows auto roll up when I arm the car, he did something with the door sensor. If you guys can, I would try to do it ASAP before it rains again this weekend. That way it'll dry faster.

 

Great pics eveyrone. It was an awesome meet Chad, thanks for everything. Yeah everyone got 50 on sides, 20 in the back. The only difference was that I got straight black tint, and the others got mirrored chrome tint. I wanted to do 35 on the sides, but no one wanted to risk a ticket.

failsafe.......look at your door jam area, there should be a black rubber button w/ a screw. remove that screw and the window will stay in the auto-up position...to return, screw it back....i prep the doors like this everytime i tint a Z35 or G35. to close teh door in the auto-up position you must do it slowly...on SOME not all Z and G35 the top of the glass MIGHT touch the roof when closed
