What cars have you owned
So the following conversation in the Sac thread got me thinking, and I decided to split my question out into a separate thread.
So, what cars have you owned? Here's mine
71 Chevy Nova 2 door sedan w/307 small block. HS grad present in 1991, was only the 3rd owner, 2nd was grandparents who owned & babied it for about 5-6 years, and 1st owner restored cars and kept it garaged all the time. Still wish I had it
94 Saturn SC2. First new car, thought it was pretty good, it did pretty well on Hwy 1 curves too
98 Saturn SL2. Got married, needed a car with more room. In 2000 was no longer married but kept it for 3 more years. Learned about "import" modding. Small article and some pics of my modding attempts on my site http://www.metallic-raven.com/tmr-ar...43-tmr-sps-sl2
2003 Saturn Ion QC3. Hadn't planned on this one mostly due to credit but end of model year and end of month quotas netted me a 1.9% 6 year loan even with credit issues. 2008 350Z Base. Was actually looking at rustangs and altima coupes. Thought the Z was out of my price range but ALWAYS liked them. Dec. 2008 I'm at Future Nissan and see a row of Z's with prices like 23,888 on the window. I ask the sales guy "are those used?" and he says no they're new, they're trying to get rid of them to make room for the 370's. Well, the rest is history

my first was a 2003 ford focus. the first year the 2.3L was introduced. Saddly, it was a handmedown so, it was an automatic. I did CAI, catback exhaust, tune, body kit, street glow, subs, everything your first rice rocket should be. this was way back in the day tho
then i pulled out of the ricer game. I purchased my first new car, in jan 06 i got my 06 wrx, had 12 miles on it. i did everything but built block on this car.literally... bigger turbo, full supporting mods, tune, coilovers, sways, control arms, prodrive wheels and thats not even touching the big mod list i had... ended up getting rear ended pretty bad and also i blew the motor. i traded it in not long after the new motor for the Z. rarely washed the suby lol. I had an infamous V8 ROFL license plate on it also lol. I actually picked the wrx over an evo and the 6.0 GTO when it just came out. not sure why i went with the subaru over those haha
a straight pipe video clip when changing one of my exhausts. this was before big turbo, just stage 2 protuned. it was one of the most viewed subaru exhaust clips and its crazy how many forums it was posted on:
and now i have my Z. i wont post pics cause they're in my flickr and allll over the place. the Z's mod list isnt too long but got a decent bit. i definitely miss the subaru in winter but spring summer fall i <3333 my Z!

-Paid for it myself @ the age of 17
-First Mod(s) consisted of Split Fire Plugs, MSD Wires, MSD Cap & Rotor and Mobil 1 oil change.
-Second Mod was Alpine Stereo, Amp & Speakers
198? VW Jetta / Manual Trans (1.75 Months)
-Moved to the Bay, new job not much cash
-Broke down 1.5 months later and mechanic wanted more $$ to fix than it was worth
-1 week later I put it on the curb with sign saying "FREE, PINK &KEYS IN THE GLOVE BOX"
1987 Chevrolet, Camaro IROC / 3.5 Auto Trans (2.5 Years)
-Bought off Ebay as a project car, picked up in Petaluma.
-Rebuilt motor to a camed out 383 stroked outmotor mated to a new beefed up 700R4 Tranny.
-Headers & Exhaust, MSD everything, all aftermarket suspension redone.
-Everything was done and ready for paint and then it wouldnt pass smog (no surprise..lol) so I parted it out.

-Bought from an old man, very clean and well kept.
-It was a car, was still depressed about my IROC so didnt care about this one.
1967 Ford, Mustang Manual (8 Months)
-Bought from a coworker that was moving.
-New Clutch, Was building a 5.0 Cobra Setup + Disc Brakes.
-2 Weeks before my install appointment drum brakes fail and I get hit.
-Sold Car to a guy that owned a body shop.
1999 Cheverolet, Camaro Z28 / LS1 Auto (3 Years)
-Used from Dealer
-Long Tube Headers, True Dual Exhaust, Cam & Tune, Suspension.

the a 91 240sx coupe for dd/track
traded the frontier for a 98 boxter
had a 92 mr2 for a couple months then sold it
sold the 240 and traded the boxter for the z

Short list
1993 Toyota Celica - this thing ran like a champ and ran forever, even after I sold it.
1994 Honda Accord - Ricer stage.. but luckily I was too broke to REALLY rice it out.
1992 Nissan 300z N/A - Freakin Sweet
1992 Nissan 300z TT - Car was fun as hell, insurance paid me good for the N/A so I got the TT
2001 Celica GT - Was actually a nice car to drive, looks like a chicks car but the interior was well put together, never had a problem with any part of the car. Had exhaust and wheels on it.
1997 Expedition - Was a tank.. nuff said.
2004 350Z - Loving it since day 1... hopefully driving until the motor gives then I want to swap a LS motor in. Want POWAHHH.... reliable POWAHHH.. and I freaking love the body lines of the Z instead of a camaro/T/A/vette/etc.

I would have to see if I still have the dyno sheet, I cant remember exactly. I know it was in the 340whp range. The cam wasnt very aggressive and the tune was done by Nick @ Newtech in Hayward. I never took it to the track, it was an auto and my daily driver.
