awww yea Im pumped about this zonc meet,for some reason I love highway driving...like the blackhawk meet you,me and dave went too, speaking of dave wonder if he will be there since they allow g35s now, I still member that drama in 08 when they didnt allow them

 

I think probably Dave may have been transferred to a new duty station by now. It's been a long time and I haven't seen him on the forum. But he would have been fun to go along and put his G in the show. Also when we go, will stop off in San Jose, as it's up 101 all the way, and meet some more there and then all head up together. It's beginning to get a good skelton trip plan now, I've got the address, have to determine the times from Point A "Salinas" to Point B San Jose/Santa Clara, short stop time, and then to Point "C" "Brisbane".
Question is: Is anybody here going to enter their car in the show? Lots of different classes and prizes. Let me know so I can plan on the time of departure. Thanks ahead of time to all.

 

stopping off in san jose sounds good to me,we could possibly meet them at zcg maybe,since its right off the highway and we can hit the highway pretty qucik.

That's true, so here's my thoughts. I'm going to set up a thread for the ZONC Annual Car Show Meet. I will have the final details Monday from up North, just got off the phone less than 5 min. ago and plan to have it up by Wed. evening. They have several cars that will be in the show. But also let's set up a local meet thread. Jose how about you set up a thread for the local "831" Meet, as you did start the thread with the idea in mind.
Then we will have two meets for us locals here.
This will get us off to a good start for the summer...

July 9th ZONC Carshow via ZCG Salinas/Monterey Caravan This is it folks.... yahoo!!!

That's our new thread all set to go.....
Track day is right...I was at ZCG today...(don't ask why-always thinking of something). I've never tracked it, I like the still new smell of the interior and still under 20,000 miles.

Now next we will need to set up a local meet some time soon.

 

I'm assuming meeting up in salinas Nissan? Also around what time? And yes Warren a track meet !!

 

Meet at Nissan around 6:00-6:15 and depart at 6:30 to ZCG.
Now we need everybody to check out the thread I set up, sign up. We have to be early as cars are being entered into the show. And this is still pushing it on time table also. ZCG will be waiting for us there and others that will also meet us there that have pm'd me. This should be a fun day!

After that we can plan a local here, but I may also be working with some guys on setting one up in Livermore also.
