Hey I was talking to another forum member from the south bay area and we are trying to arrage some sort of vq meet in between San Mateo and the south bay. Maybe Palo alto? Or mountain view? Just trying to get something going around here because it seems very dead. We are just seeing who's interested in starting something up. Let us know what you other members think.

Does everyone know the Costco right off of 101 in mountain view with the in n out and krispy kremes? That might be a good lot over there or the Stanford mall parking garage but that might have security

 

Im not familiar with the area at all but if you set something up on a saturday i may be willing to make the drive if the turn out is going to be nice

Yeah let's do it! Haha well its pretty easy to get to. It's right off 101 and there is an in n out there. It doesn't have to be an all vq meet. Just grab some friends and have them bring their ride along. I just wanna get something going here in the bay cuz it seems like everything is on the east bay and I know some of us don't wanna drive there.

Nope, I was just making a general suggestion from being around here a while and knowing the pattern.

 

its pretty sad that people won't drive more than 15 miles for a meet (San Jose to Mountain View). this just isn't an issue in socal

 

South bay people (mainly SJ) never wanna go anywhere for meets, they all just wait for meets to be in there city then go.
