New to the forums
Hey all,
Just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I just acquired a Silverstone 350z Touring Roadster from Capitol Nissan last week (my quasi holiday gift).
Some parts on order already:
Nismo Springs/Shocks (still waiting)
Nismo Sways (still waiting)
Nismo Exhaust (in stock)
Nismo CAI (in stock)
Nismo Headers (in stock)
I'm glad to see such a great forum with tons of useful info on the Z, as my other project car (Audi A4 1.8t) has a great Bay Area community as well. Well, that's about it, and Happy New Year to all.

I'd love to go to the jdm meet, but unfortunately I typically work on Sundays (off on Saturdays, for now). Definitely will try to meet you all sometime down the road, though.
As for the Nismo stuff, I negotiated and incorporated the mods into the sale price. They were going to charge 12 hr. shop time on the headers, so I decided that after the other stuff is dealer installed, I'll drop in the headers at Dynospot Racing.

Nismon,
Be real sure to check on those headers. The reason I mentio that is because NISMO recently recalled their headers and you really want to make sure you have the correct version, otherwise they will rub and you will have to install them again.
The NISMO warrenty I believe really only applies when you get it installed by a dealership if your concerned with warrenties I wouldn't really worry about it though
Dick at DSR and crew are a great bunch. If you are there drive a block down and you can visit our shop as well
StrictlyZ and Stagemotorsports
How come no NISMO cams

Congrats on your purchase Nismon- As Yuichi mentioned you can drop by StrictlyZ/Stage Motorsports. Robert the mechanic has installed quite a few sets of headers so far. So if DynoSpot can't/won't do the install give Robert a call.
Hope you can make it out to a meet sometime- we don't have a vert yet.

Hey Yuichi,
Thanks for the info. As far as the headers, I believe that Capitol placed the order after I acquired the Roadster (headers were out of stock at the time, late December). Is there a way I can verify that these headers are the updates before install?
As for cams, I was already a bit weary about r-tune products and warranty. I'm assuming that CAI and headers should only affect emissions concerns, if anything. IMO, cams and install were a bit expensive, and warranty would be a touchier subject. However, it was tempting.
If I get a free chance from work, I'll try and drop by Strictly Z in the next few weeks.
