Wink Visitng SFO/Monterrey area, recomendations.

My and a possible SO are neeting in the Bay area this weekend.

I am looking to stay in Monterrey or Carmel, on some bed and breakfast place. Any recomendations appreciated.

Also, does anybody have a Hummer H1?? She is a sucker for those things and I want to surprise her with a short tour or something....

Post or email. Thanks.

Hogs Breath Inn restaurant... owned by Clint Eastwood. Not too familiar with much else down that way (I'm always a tourist when I go down there ). Oh, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must see also.

If I can't find a Hummer (found some Hummer tours!), can I rent a Z from somebody?

I've never stayed overnight there but for lunch, I highly recommend Sardine Factory in Monteray.

Check out www.specialtyrentals.com I rented a Z there last year (It only had 107 miles on it when I picked it up, I couldn't wait for my order to be shipped). It is pretty expensive, but they do have the Z convertible, and the H2. They will sometimes disount the rates by quite a bit if you call 24hrs in advance and they don't have the car rented.
