Skyline!
No, not the car. Sorry guys. Anyway, I was up in the City today, and on my way back to the Stevens Creek area, I decided to take a detour onto Highway 84. And then onto Highway 35. And then down Highway 9.
84 was fairly twisty, with a couple of hairpins which were fortunately well warned. 35 was a fast drive as always, although I had to get past 2 SUV's (who were nonetheless nice enough to let me past). It's as if the entire route was an expansion of "the swoops" on the Highway 9 Saratoga side downhill.
Highway 9 was a pleasure as always, although I did get hit by the sharp left hook, the first 20mph on the way down. Yeah, I ended up in the other lane, and VDC and ABS both kicked in. I guess I'm a little out of practice.
I never did get back up to that magical 80+ I hit back last summer. Part of that was because "the swoops" were wet, for some reason. Oh well, it was still tons of fun.
So, who's up for a run some time?
