Autocross Round 12: Oakland 07/11
This will be the first one I participate in.
Zuddenly, since you are now a seasoned Autocrosser, I have a few questions:
- the schedule is for the BS class to be in run 3. Around what time do you think that would be? (roughly)
- do I need to have my own numbers for the car or do they provide some?
- besides my SCCA proof of membership and $30 (I think), what else do I need?

It went really well for a first time. I didn't hit any cones, and did OK times (kept improving through the 3 runs).
The only thing I didn't expect was for the street tires to be so slippery. I was driving sideways more often than not. Although it was fun and taught me a lot about the car, it sure didn't make for really good times.
I am going to round 13 in Albany this Saturday and I will try not to be so agressive and see if that works better.
