Default My new toy...

I decided to do something a little different and had the intake pipes powder coated black... ohh yeah there is also a Vortech connected to those pipes.

It is still not a 100%. I have not had it tuned because my new exhaust has not come in yet. Out of the box I have 351RWHP and 289TQ. With tuning I should get at least another 20rwhp because it is running very rich right now.

As is, the car is ridiculously fast and I couldn't be happier.

Rob at Z car garage has been great. I highly recommend them for any and all Z needs.

I also had headers installed and it is not tuned yet so I couldn't give you the exact amount. I think the Vortech was a thirteen hour install. Rob said mine was the fastest he has done so it can take longer.

After it is tuned I will definitely go hunting for Z06's, Viper's and 911 TT's. My power to weight ratio should be closest to the Porsche. (then again I am not putting down anywhere near the torque numbers of the above listed cars...) I can't complain, the car is awesome and the sound of the blow off valve when shifting is sick! Just got to be extra careful with the cops until it is CARB approved.

We will just have to see at the next meet. I love driving the car even more now, so I may be willing to give rides for most...

Hey Bruce, actually it is a Z33SC. And neur0sis, that is not a bad idea. If I am going to hammer down on the throttle several times, my gas gauge is going to go faster than my car.

Okay, I got $2.50 for a gallon of gas for ya... I expect a gallon's worth of a ride!

J/K, I'll settle for a few minutes or so
