Hi all! Finally got my DC Sports Headers after almost a 3 month wait. Can't complain for the price.....thanks "SUMMIT"!!
Contacted "failsafe" for advice on install and he recommended
Z Car Garage. I gave Rob a call and he gave nothing but the most professional attitude, great customer service, enthusiasm and all the qualities which will guarantee his success in this competitive/unforgiving business. I dropped the car off at 7:00am, Rob said that the car may not be done in one day, but I had stressed to him that I have only 1 day off a week and I just had to have the car back that day. He said he couldn't promise anything, but told me to look forward to early the next morning for pick-up. To my surprise, at around 3:45 PM he calls and tells me in a very enthusiastic voice "It's DONE". Rob & Dan busted their A$$ to get my car back to me. In my experience, most shops wouldn't care whether it was your day off or whatever.
These guys really know how to take care off you. I can't quote the install price, but it was very fair for the size of the job.
In Hawaii we have a little tradition, when someone helps you out you always bring a little something as a thank you gift. I had to show them a little "Aloha" spirit for there hard work and hooked it up with a 12 pack of Corona for the end of there day. Anyways, I picked up my car and had the biggest
all the way home. The Headers are just awesome. I would have to say that this is the only mod that I have done which has a noticeable difference in both power and sound. I feel that it increased the midrange to high quite a bit. Car just breathes so much better now. The car became a little raspy though, small price to pay for the gain. It sounds awesome though!
Again, thanks Rob, Dan, and Jason for your help. Take Care all. No pics of headers, sorry folks.
