This was the first weekend I had a chance to really take my new Z out on the freeway (with only 440 miles driven).

Drove down to the Gilroy outlets and on my way back home on
85 just before the Union Ave exit I see a low silver car in my rear view mirror. I asked my wife is that the Elise??? She looked in the side mirror but could not tell.

I was going to get an Elise before I ended up getting my deposit back and buying the Z. I came to my senses and realized I did not need a track car and the fact that the dealer could not say when I would get to order - made me impatient as th months went by. (8 months and still no order)

But back to the story.... This silver car must have been about 500 yards behind me. Other cars around it was going the same speed as the silver car. I realize that it was not an Elise after looking at the bumper. Then I thought it must be a Celica with Lambo type body kit. After taking anothr look at the rea mirror, I said to my wife I think thats a Lambo... So, I decided to slow down a bit so that it would catch up and I could get a look at what it was.

My wife then was telling me to get over to the Union Ave exit lane.. So I did, at this point the Gallardo was about 100 feet behind as I eased over from the fast lane to the exit lane.
As I was exiting, I saw the silver Gallardo with no plates drive by -I could see the grin on the driver's face.

I was in awe. I said to my wife - now that's a nice car!

 

Hey i was at Gilroy today too... hot as hecks.

Too bad i missed the Lambo...

 

It's a nice car but nothing too special, I see one probably once a month. Not like it's an Enzo right?
