The source footage is 40 minutes long, but most of it ended on the cutting room floor.

Well considering that the original DV-AVI file is 8GIGs even if it was rendered to a WMV format it would still be about 300MB.

And who would want to host that?

Z-INCOGNITO if you can't download-it, than stream-it until the end of the video.
(which should save a copy of the video to your cache folder. “..\temp internet files\...”)

Then the next time you attempt a download, the file will be copied directly from your cache folder to any path you designate.
