Default Infineon on New Years Day

TEAM Racing, a group of Miata enthusiasts, is hosting an open track day at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA, on Saturday, January 1, 2005. The event is open to all track junkies, and the cost is just $190 and includes lunch, snacks, etc. Contact Bonni at http://www.team-racing.org for forms and more info.

Thanks for posting on our behalf, Ron! I hope we get some of these 350Zs out to join us. I recall last year we had THREE 350Zs signed up -- that was a blast! Anyway, if you guys think you are ever gonna see Infineon at this price, with all those goodies included, you better think again! Get signed up before it's too late!

I'll be there for this event. This will be fun. Also gives me a reason to take it easy the night before.

Scubasteve -- you can rent a helmet at the track. Just let me know on your application when you send it in that you'll need one, and I will call Infineon to make sure one is waiting for you. If you want to buy your own, I recommend taking a look at http://www.racerwholesale.com and check out the G-Force line, among others. I have a G-Force helmet -- it is very comfortable, meets rigid tech standards at the races, and it's about a hundred bucks cheaper than its "fraternal twin" -- the Bell/Pyrotect helmet. If you're going to get a helmet for automotive events, be sure and get an SA2000 or higher (I believe they may have already released the SA2005 helmets -- if so, get that one -- helmets tech for ten years).

Hope to see you guys join us!!! And THANKS failsafe for the welcome! Do you sell Fail Safe products? I need an 'off' switch for my racecar still . . .
