Ugh...ok, so for some reason I thought it was THIS weekend. LOL Hopefully I'll still be able to make it next Saturday.

You are more than welcome. We have someone that brings out a Mazda. The meets are about having a good time and doing what we all love to do best. Talk about our cars.

As far as becoming a member of OZOC, in that instance you would need to have either a Z or a G.

We look forward to seeing your car. I am curious what a VQ looks like in that engine bay.

understandable w/ the joining part. Looking forward to meetin you guys.

as far as a vq fitment in the engine bay, I probably have more room than in a z33 (I can take both headers off from top or bottom with the motor in the car and 9 times outta 10 dropped bolts hit the ground).

Nice, I love the s14, I want to build one one day, but I am going SR, My brother was a sponsored drifter in Oki. When I went over there to spend some time, I fell in love with that car. Oh and the 15, but that car is next to impossible to get a hold of.

Post a pic.

So how much of a PITA was running the harness? Did you just splice into the 14 harness, or did you run the entire thing throughout the car?

Just spliced into the s14s harness. I took the easy road really, Have a Zs engine harness and a Haltech platinum powering everything, so there are really just a few Items IN the car (fuel pump, ignition signal, etc.) that needed to be wired in via the s14 harness. Had Drive by wire at first, but fail safe is a lil finiky when ur missing so many Z items, I ended up throwing on a Q45 throttle body that I had laying around to eliminate the need for the stock ecu. I have seen someone go as far as getting a Z front clip and using all the under dash wiring and control modules to get the 350Z gauge cluster working. All in how far u want to take it and how deep your pockets are.

Nice car! Can't wait to see it at the meet. Do you live around Waterford? I think I've seen you around.
