ive driven an is300 a number of times and gotta say i really enjoy the car. But ur like me J and u like ur car in stick, and finding an is300 in stick is damn near impossible. J itll be sad to see u go, but ur always welcome 2 any of my bbqs that almost no1 attends and 2 the meets. And i might be able to sell ur avic D3. Let me get a price 2 tell my buddy

my buddy has a b5 s4... i wouldnt recommend that 2 anyone. Hes probably spent about 5k in repairs and even if he went stage 3 for 5k hes still under 400 awhp.

 

lol yea the B5's have alot of maintenance issues. part of having two little turbos and trying to max them out I guess. Also everytime you want to do something on that motor is has to be pulled. so it costs a fortune to maintain. Audis are really not the car to try to get alot of HP out of hence why I got the Z. lol

 

good call lol. yea and his B5 isnt very fast, but the race between mine and his car is a great 1. I get him from the line, he catches up, i hit 4th gear and im gone again lol

My friend had the IS300 with the 5 speed when it first came out in like 2003. Cool car.. I think you can put the supra twin turbo engine in it. lol

Im thinking Amuse FB with Carbon Diffuser, Used 2006 Headlights and Seibon Carbon Fiber fenders now painted somewhat trying to figure out how I wanna paint them.

Ugh has anybody tried to install Carbign Craft Mirror Covers? Biggest PITA EVER!! The driver side one is cracked now trying to get that POS on.. Im just gonna say the company hit it with the accident lol.

Bought a ticket for the wrong person - had to eat that cost of $270
Lauren cant afford ticket to Vegas
Im stuck with a non refundable ticket and an empty seat next to me
I have tickets to SEMA
Ive never been to Vegas

Do I go alone? or Do I just eat the ticket and keep the credit for like $150 (half of the actual ticket cost)

 

id be happy 2 go with bro, but i def dont have that cash laying around. It sounds 2 me like u shuld just eat it due 2 the lack of funds available and the fact your alone. But hey if u go and gamble you could become a millionaire . but realistically i think u shuld try 2 pawn off those SEMA tickets and eat 1/2 the cost of the airplane ticket

 

chris, pm'd you. Damn that sucks to hear chris, but as long as you're not paying the bills, take the insurance money and buy aftermarket ****. The money they give you to pay for 'oem' stuff is more than enough usually. and yes, CARBON diffuser. Fiberglass is okay, but if they make a cf version, DO IT.


As for my car situation. Damn that really sucks to hear. If I get the Audi, my modding life will be ova. (speed wise) and I know Im a big show guy but eventually i was gonna get to the motor. But at least there is still potential with the IS. But the IS just cheap looking (inside). plus i'll have to retrofit my own projectors, BOOO

Why dont you see how much the 2 door JDM IS costs to get over here!! Doesnt it have like a 4cyl turbo engine or something.. Im a fan of the IS when done correctly. RWD you can do a serious 4-5" deep dish lip on the rims too.

So this is how its goin for the car.. Ordered the Shine Amuse FB and CF Diffuser (had them send me an invoice saying the bumper was the cost of both hehe)

Got Seibon CF OEM Fenders.. Nissan OEM was like $310 plus $100 of paint..

The only issue is the headlight.. OEM is $857 and its gonna look dumb next to my old passenger one thats all faded and yellowish. So I either have to find 2 - 03-05 HID headlights that look brand new or see if Nissan can make my old one look just as good. Any suggestions?

i think all 06 headlights r bi xenon. Or just buy a set of 03 non HID and buy a 150 HID upgrade off ebay like i did. We alrdy had this convo over the fone though lol.

yes they are hid. im getting me a new set b/c mine has eyelids that the previous owner decided to paint and im too lazy to take them off. Prolly have to wet sand them. It would come with bulbs and everything. as you can see the eyelids there. plus they are blacked out inside but work awesome. ill let you know if i get the set or not if you're still intereste
