hey quick question i have a lot of repairs to do to the Z
i have to get new radiator, a/c condenser, belts, ect... does anyone know a good priced mechanic or shop in the area?

like, it looks weird without sides. the drive isnt bad.. highway is awesome usually.

Sooooo when are you going to try out those axle-breaking tires I sold you??? lol I'm so slow I haven't even ordered the new wheel bearing yet so the Z is still up on the car dollies. I'm finally going to order it tonight so maybe it will be running next weekend (if something else isn't broke that is).

yup... its all cause of the damn slave cylinder.. there a recall from nissan about it... but 4 trannys in 2 years.. brought the Z new in dec of 07... replaced the first one at about 15k.. second one at about 23K and now got to send it back to be looked at, same problem from the last time im at 46K.... there are other HR owners dealing with the same thing
Wow thats alot of transmissions! I bought a CD009 to install when I get around to the motor build. I hope it holds up.
Good news! The Z is back up and running again after 2 months b/c of the broken axle. Found a very fair priced machine shop out of the whole ordeal for the wheel bearing press. So now I have a place to go to for the maching for the motor build. They send out the crank to be balanced but they do everything else themselves. yay.

I will be doning some recruiting for 20 days then its off to Hawaii. We need to have some sort of get together when I am there.
As I said before, I am going to Cars and Cafe for sure. My car will be complete by then and I will be rolling in my new beauty.
This will be the last opportunity I will have to see anyone, I leave for Iraq in June from what I am being told.
