Getting closer!!!

 

Ok, my work can officially die in a fire of blazing hell. We changed weekend work schedules today at the service meeting and I now have to work this saturday. On top of that I had to take half a day off last week to go to the dr and now they dont want to give me the afternoon off friday to take my car over to tampa.

 

I got approval tonight. Great news!!

We do not have to have 1/8 of a tank of gas but 1/4!!! great cuz i almost ran out waiting in line to enter at orlando last year.

sigh................ Ill be able to come over for the show in the evening but Im screwed to enter my car. I guess Ill be sitting this one out.

 

You can't get someone to drive it in for you maybe? or is it your DD? Thats what I have to do for my husband. He has to work til 7pm but we are getting his car there for him and I will set up both of ours and he will come in at 8ish to finish his out for the remainder of the show.

 

Does anyone know if there are any promo codes for spectators tickets and is it too late?

Is there a caravan going out Saturday? I was going with my wife, but at the last minute something came up and she's not going (woohoo! - j/k). I'd like to ride out there with people, instead of by myself. Thanks.

just an update

 

It is supposed to be my weekend car. I have a 240 as a daily but its down right now due to a number of issues. about 3/4 of which I have resolved and Im waiting on parts for the rest of it. My 350 is the daily driver right now and even if by some miracle I was able to get out of work early tomorrow Id have to have one of my friends or one of yall bring me back from st pete tomorrow night to lakeland and Id still need a ride to work in the morn on saturday and then a ride over that afternoon to the show. I was able to do hin last year because both my cars were running at that time. I norm dont chat on here too much but this situation with my work just has me pissed. Add to that the hell Ive been going thru with my daily driver and it just further aggarvates my situation.

NO! You want to be AT the gate at 11am. This is what Nate told me. Our club will be there. We have a caravan meeting at 9:30am in Brandon at Sweet tomatoes (right next to Hooters), right across the street from Nissan of Brandon on HWY 60.. if you guys driving out Saturday want to meet up with us. Probably pull out at 9:45-10am. Gates open at 2pm but Nate said for us to line up at the gate at 11am to get early pull in. Guess because there is a line to be expected.

 

So were gonna sit @ the gate for 3 hours???

 

Its 2pm tomorrow (Friday) for us who are meting up and leaving to tampa.. not 2pm on saturday...lol dont worry will be there....

 

ok so we'll meet up on friday at 2 at champions gate and then head over there.

 

That's what I thought! But Nate said if we get there at 11am, when they gates open at 2pm, we won't have to wait in a long line inching up running out our gas. I don't know. We're just going to plan to go at 11. Edgar with HIN told me the same thing. I guess if you are in the back of the line and they open it at 2, then it may be 3 or 4 before you get in? Show starts at 4.
Maybe bring a portable grill and coolers full of booze and cookout. haha

 

I'm rolling out today @ 2:00 plan to arrive around 4:00 or so to avoid traffic... champions gate exit#57 meet like usual @2pm...
