Tein S Tech Springs
Hey guys,
I'm trying to get a group buy for the Tein S-Tech Springs for the 350Z. One of the My350Z.com Sponsors has agreed to give me 45% off MSRP once we have at least 10 orders. So reply back and let me know who wants in...also let other Z owners know who don't have interntet...I know of at least one who wanted in. Once I have 10 I will place the order.
My350Z.com...I'm not trying to sell a product, I'm relaying the information obtained from one your sponsors. Thanks all,
Ron

I'm a firm believer in the S-Tech spring. Verry distinct handeling difrence after the instalation. Car holds and hugs turns better. There are diffrent spring rates available but I don't know if they are through the group buy set up.
With the wider wheels My AVIC D1's lateral accelerometer shows me pulling 1.2 g going around the turn off from H1 to 78 to Aiea. That big @ss loop. I take it almost every day at almost 60MPH and no signs of slipping. Thats going to be higher than a standard skid pad. The loops is an inclining, banked, right hand turn. So the car squats when accelerating throughout the turn.
If any one wants a demo I'll be more than happy to share. Long story short the best bang for the buck this side of the full Tien electronicly adjustable independet damping systems. But those are big $$$

They are real easy to install with spring compressors. If any one needs help I can assist. I'm sure there are many others out there with install experience that is willing to help.

so hows the GB going? you might want to email curt lee from Z club of hawaii and the G35 club (if your able to offer the g35 springs as well) to try and broaden your market if your coming up short.
the front drop is .7 of an inch, the rear is .6 of an inch, subtle, but it looks great. I think its the perfect drop without over doing it, I want 285/35 rears and with this spring I dont think I will have to roll the fenders, the front rims arent tucked, but it looks dropped right onto the rim. The handling is superb, I havent been able to go fast enough around a turn to wear my tires skid, I just dont have the ***** lol....Ive gone pretty fast too, the Z has great seats, I can take a turn hella fast not get thrown around in the seat or from body roll, it just squats, takes the turn without roll, you are sucked into the side bolster of the seat.....it feels great, you wont be dissapointed.
Edit
some pics from my car domain, if I had a 285/35 tire in the reat there would be almost no gap in the front and rear from the tire to the fender, they are just great springs.

I've got 285/35 18's Falken 451's. They are a perfect compliment, its just on the edge of the friction coefficient. Any larger tires in a NA Z and the friction to rotate the tires starts degrading performance compaired the relative gains. For FI's with 450 or more start looking at tires higher than 285. Some have said you can get up to 315's on the back with a roled fender. I'll see on my next tire change looking at the 315's next. (After NA).
The S-tech is by far the easiest and dollar for dollar the best mod you can do to help suspension out. He's right it just squats!!
EDIT: added pic of the Z for tire refrence.

So here is the deal i'm gonna compile a list, so PM me if your 100% definately in with your first and last name, e-mail, and address. At first this was just for people in Hawaii, but if I can get more than 15, i'm sure he will ship anywhere. So let me know ASAP so I can make the order...like i said it should be around 120 or so which is a great deal for these because trust me, their worth full price. Let me know....
