I was wondering what cell phone service you guys use. I have sprint and my wife has cingular. We are looking at getting a family plan on one or the other.

I like T-mobile...but some people here don't like the reception. It all depends on where you live and what areas you'll be frequenting. Like anywhere...it's where they got the repeaters. I think T-mobile has a fairly good family plan. Something to consider...
I've got t-mobile and I like them. I don't know about their family plans though. I've heard verizon has the best reception, sprint seems expensive, and I don't know for sure, but I didn't see an option for unlimited nights and weekends w/cingular so that doesn't work for me.
As mentioned by above posters, T-Mobile is quite good. I have their 600 whenever minutes + Unlimited weekends for $39.99 + Tax. They may have more attractive plans by now. There family plan is not too shabby.
we had the sprint family plan, but someone hacked into account and bought a couple phones on our account. it was a big headache to clear and we didnt get back all our money at the end. i will never use them again. besides, the reception was really junk.
we have the t-mobile family plan. i cannot remember off hand how much it costs, but the price is very good. reception is not too bad.
i do have a hard time getting reception in my hospital, however. our hospital has a dedicated cingular antenna, so anyone with cingular gets excellent reception in the hopsital.

Got sprint, have had them since "99.
I have 1500 anytime, 3000 nights and weekends, free sprint to sprint, no long distance fee's, wireless web, unlimited texting, and 10% off my Insurance (USAA); for $49.99. Had bargin alot to get it. There is a trick to get it, it's a little trickey but persistance pays.

i have sprint now, and my contract is up so i think i am going to switch to cingular b/c my wife's contract isnt up yet. Also i think we are only going to be in hawaii for a year and a half, then guam, so i dont know if guam has cell towers or not, and i dont want to have to pay another cancellation fee.
I have ALLTEL and I know some of ya'll are wondering who the hell is this company. Their not a small company FYI. They don't do commericals until recently I seen one on TV. Anyways, I think the advantage of this company compared to sprint for a fact is. I can change my plan whenever or how many times I want to without having to renew my contract for another 2yr. I've change my plan some many countless times because I try to catch as many deals as I can. I've been with them over 1 1/2yrs and my contract will be ending this year real soon. Honestly I think I'm going to be staying with them. I've been in places where my buddies have had the top dogs so you speak like sprint and verizon in which some cases I've have had the better signal. I'm not saying ALLTEL is the best but to some extent all cell phone companies do use the same towers. I've left sprint because their customer service sucks ***** seriously. My 2cents!
I've got Cingular....family plan is great plus rollover minutes rule. Not to mention they have by far the best selection of phones since they are a GSM network. Coverage is great everywhere I go too including here in NC, TX, and Norcal.

Nobody puts more $$ into their network than them.
