Can anyone recomend a detailing place that pays attention to details when it comes to cleaning cars? I've been too busy to take proper care of my car, as Stef (Aloha350Z) can attest to that .

I learned my lesson. Now I only bet things that I'm good at, like Grand Turismo. She has not beat me at that yet; although she's a fast learner

I can't really endorse anywhere. I mean I guess it depends on how **** you are. for me I don't feel good letting anyplace clean my car whether its the $5 charity car wash or the $500 professional detail place. I mean I'm sure they do good work and stuff, but they'll never take car of your car the way you would. so I guess the Z06 purchase never happened huh?

 

Yeah, it's true that no one can take care of your car like yourself, but I've been so busy lately that I rather have some one take care of my car and make it look good. I'm going to 2020 Auto Detailing. They took care of Shaq's SUV when he's in town annualy for the basketball camp. Also, Thom (Jetjammer) had his Z detailed there when he still had it, and it was sharp looking. We'll see how good they are.

Oh, BTW, the ZO6 will be bought once I can find a house or condo that has 2 parkings. The owner will hold it for me until then. Nice guy huh?

BTW I thought I had read a poll that said Capone's topped out as #1. I've used them on an outcall basis for work, but never had them do my personal ride.

 

Hehehe, I wish it were a C6 Z06 . It's the C5 Z06. Mint condition and always garaged. Has not seen rain yet .

Really? Capone was#1? Oh well, the owner at 2020 seems down to earth and nice. Took the time to talk to me and go over the detailing process as well as gave me a good price for both In/Out Detailing duties. I saw samples of cars that were there and it looked good. We'll see.

Yeah. Waiting for a few awd pioneers to do the first several runs. Need to work out the calibrations and bugs before I go

 

midas touch ala moana, they do a good job, clean inside of rims and all and you can walk around ala moana while you wait

 

Thanks Sonic. What's their quote? Do they have a maintenance program? Did they tell you what kind of wax/polish/polymer they use?

2020 Auto Detailing did a good job with my S4, but they keep moving around. I prefer a more permanent place.

 

I tried to find them once (just driving around........too lazy to get out and actually walk around and look). Back then they supposedly used Zaino. I have no idea what they would use now.
