Hks F-con?
Why wouldn't you be able to? Or are you asking if there is a tuner that can do this for you, in Hawaii? Cause i'm pretty sure it's not against the law or the programing to tune anything you'd like?
I could see someone wiring this up and then your laptop has a pop that reads, "Sorry, i detect your car to be in Hawaii, go F*ck yourself".

HKS F-CON is very strict on who they permit to tune the systems they release. I only know if a couple shops in the US that can do it. I was just wondering if by some miracle Hawaii could ...lol
There are no F-con dealers in this state. You have to be a F-con dealer to tune it. Their software and cable to connect to it is only available to the dealers. I have a friend selling a F-con V-pro if you want. He's over it, the costs of flying down someone one just became to rediculous. One of the times he flew someone in the guy dissapeared. Took a free vacation. Its not anywhere near worth it unless theres a dealer nearby to tune your car.
Most of the single turbo Supras here are on AEM and 2 have the V-pro. We usually fly in John Reed to do our tuning. Since we chip in on the plane ticket it is not expensive at all. He usually stays at one of our houses. After my engine is done we will be bringing him back again. Dyno time and his tuning time are paid for by each individual. Let me know if you are interested in getting in on the next trip. Should be within the next 2 months.

Hmm that could work for me. I need to get a fuel return system and the HKS-F CON system package. I'm gonna start pricing all this stuff out to see what I need to get.
What shop are you guys working with to get the Dyno tune and do you know if John has tuned 350Z's?? I'm sure he has, probably a dumb question since hardly no one can do it.

John can tune anything with an F-pro or AEM..he has tuned Vipers, EVO's S2000's MR2's etc..the tuning is all the same basically. Plus he is a certified Master mechanic...very good at what he does.

Nice...I'm going to wait as long as I can to see if the AEM gets released for the Z soon so that more people can tune it..I'm so damn indecisive I want a good tuning option but the market for the Z is still new after 3 years
Its either F-con, UTEC because in 8 months or less it will be way better or AEM..
Man this is such a pain, trying to get my Z up in the high power LVL's without buying parts thats suck. I spent so much going N/A and that path blew. I've been through 4 clutches that suck rabble,rabble,rabble....hehe
Anyway please hit the boards up when you plan on asking this guy to fly down.
If I can get all my fuel and EMS issues sorted out in the next couple months then I can get a drop in motor and fly to 500 WHP with my kit now, then upgrade to stage 2 and hopefully hit 600-700 WHP.
At what power LVL's do the Supras need to run race gas all the time? I'm not sure if I want to pass the 600WHP mark or not yet...

The size of your turbo, your compression, and your boost level will determine running race gas or not. Greddy kit at 16 psi on a 8:5-1 Z will make 600+ hp. That is perfectly acceptable on race gas. 8.5:1 9:1 should be able to accept up to 19 psi roughly on pump gas. What your turbo makes at those psi levels determines the power. Simple way to think of it is psi vs compression determines type of gas, turbo vs psi determines power. E.G. A S2000 engine running 9:1 compression has a small turbo like from a WRX. It at 19psi might make 250-300hp on pump gas. Put a GT35R on the same engine same boost, you'll make almost 500hp.

Seth im really curious to see what you can make with Pun's block Non-sleeved. I dont know if I'm gonna go with the crazy headwork he has yet. Is he still gonna use the Emanage?
I believe so. E-manage and ecu reflash has already proven itself. Would be nice to have a standalone such as the aem or f-con, but I don't think its necessary unless you're trying to make over 700.

Do you know if a Altima VQ35 is a acceptable core? MY brother has one in waialua that he was gonna build up but if I can use his block for a core then give him mine it will save me some downtime...
