I fall into the BROKE catagory again. Car was throwing a P0302 (#2 cylinder misfire) and now is backfiring and throwing a P0340 (Cam sensor phase)

So yeah since my car dropped a duce Im out man unless you wanna roll with a 96 jeep cheroke.

 

I thought the P0300 series codes are just annoying. I get the 0300 sometimes its a software bug. The cam code is odd tho.

 

Yah sure bring that jeep why not lol... It is just to meet up with you guys. I am just scheduling this one to see how many will possibly show up and to see if you guys that show up want to help me coordinate a larger cruise.

 

It was an actual P302 though the car was running like ****. Real rough and no acceleration. It was also associated with closed loop condition with the primary O2 sensor on the right bank (drivers side). Then those went out and now the P0340 is up and car is for ****.

 

Damn man is this a secret plan to get Seth so trained he can Build a 350z blind folded with a swiss Army Knife

 

if anthing this may be a 1-2 guys showing up... This may just be a meet maybe not a cruise see you guys there... we'll see..

naw no chicken there but Poki... well um your ah #2 cylinder is gonna have a slightly Higher compression than the others.

oh lol sorry about that... Well no worries.. It was only 3 cars their. Didn't do a cruise just a meet. Going to reschedule for another cruise but this will consist of more then just Z's. Will make a new thread for that cruise.

 

peice of fish fell in cylinder nuber 2 slightly raising the compression. The engine has to come apart to get it out and clean it. Sorry bro Im a messy eater and I cant have your car up and running before mine

lol, well I'm not doing any fuel modifications yet and my Z was running ok when I dropped it off so I pray for minimal issues. That is if the reflash permits my car to run ok for the time being, otherwise I need to drop off the EMS and open that can of worms early.

 

I would do it If I were you. Always little unforscene bugs that come up. Hell look at mine! No matter how careful or maticulious people are we are just that, people. People make mistakes and the more **** you change the more **** is likely to go wrong. Like mine...

lol yea we jacked this but it was mentioned that a new one will be started for another meet so I think we are safe.

I am doing the fuel mods, CJ Motorsports return system and 550cc or 650cc Injectors as soon as my Z is broken in. I am just trying to limit the possible list of things that can go wrong until then to make things a little simpler.

 

too bad about the meet. but hey, at least you had a better turn out than the last one. it was me and one other guy.

 

Yeah that one I fell into the busy catagory helping Aloek (sp) with suspention that took WAY too long. Damn cars are like women.
