Dedicated to you Jamie, so now you can sit back and impatiently wait for yours, and squirm while you just think and wonder how it'll look on your car!
Seriously though, I can't wait to see the sides on your car.
Took awhile to do the repair and paint... but earned invaluable experience in body work.
Varis front under spoiler... you can see the rest of the images here, if you're interested in picking one up:

Yeah, the Nismo Zs were made so the new body style could pass Super GT homoligation purposes. See the resemblence?
The older 2003/2004 JGTC 300 class cars was why I wanted this front lip. I like how it rises in the middle.

Geez Erwin it is just about the sickest thing i've ever seen. We need to get a photo shoot with both our cars in say, 5 and a half months when my Lip finally gets here. I can't decide if I should order the rear spoiler or the rear diffuser next. I want the spoiler more but I the lead time on the diffuser is probably going to be another 4-6 months.

... to take some of that sting away. Kidding dog, kidding. I want to get that Varis Extremor badge that goes in the middle though... and I was thinking of the canards. Maybe we can share on the shipping with another order from bulletproof?Don't worry though, your stuff will be here soon enough.
It's a good thing I pulled the trigger on it... but repairing it was certainly a bicth.
If I didn't have the CWest rears on... and I know it has left marks on the bumper, I'd get the goddamn rear vortex generators... which you should get, along with the exhaust shield. Goddamn Varis is and arm and a leg though.... and you should know.

congrats man. Looks sweet.
Got any pics of th damage and repair?
I boggles my mind that CF is one of the strongest composites for cars but its so damn brittle when they make lips. Thats one one the BIG deciding factors in avoiding the CF lips. I hear ALOT of horror stories about the cracking and shattering on impact.
EDIT: Im waiting for the nismo V3 bumper and skirts. That Nismo tail is horrendous but Id use a diffrent set up. May be the C west cap thingies or the Charge speed bumper.

He's also getting the Varis treatment, but more "full on." I can't wait to see his car with the full Varis kit.
For those wondering, Varis is a respected company known for functional body parts. HKS Kansai uses them almost exclusively for their track cars as shown on the first attatchment, which is an HKS car that ran in the Z Car Challeng in Japan. In the 3rd attatchment, notice that they, along with tuners like Power House Amuse and Nismo choose to go with the stock air box, choosing only to change the pipe. Another interesting thing is the shape of the air diversion panel, it covers the hole that lets air into the air box, allowing better flow... it's just $300

Jamie, these pics are dedicated to you. These are just a few of 2 1/2 years worth of searching and finding Varis Arising 1 pics. Of course, if I had the money, I'd have done it. Enjoy! And Jamie, just in case you want better pics, I have a whole ton load.

Also, lips are the worst place to have CF. Hitting a parking stop or debris on the road can be desasterous. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my eyes open. I'm used to parking, and I'd only let FAMILY who will cough up the $$$ for replacement of the lip to drive my car.
Here's the pics of the damage. Epoxy resin (gel) is all I used. No fiberglass cloth needed.

Who makes z intake pipes? I'm trying to stay with the jdm theme (as much as I freaking love my piaa rims, im wishing I had got Work miester S1s now) but I don't think I can justify the cost of the ARC pipe. Where do you guys go for ARC parts anyway?

Go to Performance Nissan (mynismo.com) for the ARC pipe.
Or you can be like me
and WISH to get the burnt Ti pipe from Amuse... Bulletproof offers 'em... only $400+
I'm afraid to ask them for shipping time.Or you can buy the Nismo S1 kit... I think that's what's it's called for $2K, which includes the Nismo polished pipe along with airbox and other goodies.
Or you can go US and get the UTR pipe.
