Looks good. I'm waiting for Seibon to come out with a CF 07 hood.....

 

True and not true...we got a CF '03 hood on a my husbands and my '07 even though we stripped some covers off the engine, look hott though. So its possible just gotta know what you're doing...but we're customizing it so it looks like our old '07 hood just CF so we can fit all the **** back in to the engine.

 

how are you going to do that without having to paint the CF? at which point, whats the point of it being CF?

 

Well, he said he's going to redo the hood everything.....how thats beyond me (we know its expensive but he's in Iraq and they take no taxes out so he's banking a few plus re-enlistment bonus), but just having it now its just for the looks so basically its a temp thats the point of having it...so his car and me looks good when I drive it...lol jk

 

True, i know what you trying to say and i heard that before! i'm paiting the top and the trunk black to. the reason to get a 07, is because i have the mrev manifold and the spacer, i was thinking that the sway bar can fit because of the 07 bump in the hood! and i was wrong!

what spacer do you have? I have the 5/16th and the sway bar fits fine, do you have the 1/2?

Bro...its your car. You do what you want with it. A lot of positives and negatives....what matters is what you like...you paying the note...nobody else.

 

+1. it dont matter what the other people think as long as you're paying for all the mods that you put into your car then be it. just do whatever you wanna do to your car. looks nice and something different.

+1 with what Joe and Jeff say. Its your car....I think it looks hot because its different. But guess what? If someone sees a reg Z they wont really remember it (no offense to anyone with reg stock body), but if they see you Z they'll say, " Yeah, I saw a Z with a Black hood and lip with a VS wing" Thats like that with my husband and my wing people remember us bc of our wing and they've said it before. Like with Kamu's car my husband came home one day saying he saw some sexy Z and next time you know at the cruise Kamu showed up and it was his car. Same thing with Rods rims...****ing huge but people remember him and his car. So do what you want, and what you think sticks out and looks good to your eye not anyone elses.

 

personally i really like that hood, if you don't want it anymore i'll buy it from you. look way better than most of the aftermarket hoods out there.

I love my hood on my 08, it gives the Z such a fresh look. I remember when people where hating on it on this board lol :P. It made me all ways think of the E46 m3.
