Default Who's planning on going FI?

Hey Guys,
So I've got a hydro locked engine off a 04-05 (not sure). My plan was to slowly build the block and then turbo my car.
After some thought, i'm not realistically going to do it. The at least 10 grand it would take me to do would be much better spent saving for a house. On top of that I don't really have a place to store the engine while I'm saving up.
Is anyone else planning on going FI soon and want an extra block to start their build?
I still dunno what i'm gonna do what do you all think?

Already been FI for a couple of years. It's fun, but yes also pretty expensive.

Yeah it eats into your pockets something feirce. If your satisfied with a medium powerd Z you can put an ST or TT kit on your car and out of the box get about 400-420 ish. Wouldnt recomend any more than that on stock pistons. but for 90% of the folks out there 420whp is more than enough and it will only run you about $6000-$7000 installed and tuned. You wont even need that spare engine.

At that level its pretty safe to boost as long as you have a decent FMU/engine management.

How long you plan on holding on to the engine? If you still have it for some odd reason, say in 9 months I will take it off your hands no problems. Toss that b!tch into a 240SX and stock get some wicked times.

FYI If you got the VIN you can tell the year of the car as well as ALOT of other crap. You may have an early revup engine on your hands if its an 05 from a track.

The engine is still at King Windward but my friend was going to go in on Monday and tear it down and bring it over to my place. The problem is I really don't have any place to put it at my place so I'm sure we could work something out if you wanna store it in your spare bedroom Mike, haha.
