Reporting in from Honolulu
Hey folks, I'm here in an internet cafe somewhere in Waikiki. I was wondering, was there a little get together last night near Ward's? I saw two Z's, flanking a 300ZX and what looked like an older 280. I saw one of the Z's again today, a PPW one with a big CF Wings West spoiler. Is that anybody here?

That must have been the Debut of the Roadster at New City Nissan down the street. There were about a dozen Z owners who showed up there at the dealership.
As for the PPW Z with the WW Spoiler, that belongs to Eric, one of the Z Club of Hawaii Members. He doesn't post here yet, I believe.
Andrew,
If you go to the Pearlridge/Aiea area, you should see more Z's
.
BTW, will you still be here on 8/3/03? There will be a mini 350Z Cruise/Get together. Would be great to have you come out to meet and hang with us.

Sorry, I wish I could be there. Unfortunately, I'm back in CT. I literally was in Hawaii for about 48 hours. I arrived Wednesday night and left Saturday night.
Interviewed at the Queen's hospital, hope things went well.
I'd love to become a more frequent poster on the Hawaii forum.

Hey bud! Queen's a good hospital to be at. Are you interviewing for a position there? You're finished with your residency already?
I'm currently in year 5 of 5 in general surgery. I interviewed for their critical care fellowship. Overall, I thought it went well. I really liked the place and the people are awesome. Hopefully they had similar feelings for me.
If I don't end up getting it, I think I'll still look for a general surgery job in Hawaii.

Hey Frank, I just noticed that you've got Wet Okole seat covers on your sig.
This is a very Hawaiian trend, which I've recently noticed has spread to California. Other than being stylish, do these covers protect your seats from sand? I always figured that was one of the reasons, but I was never really sure.

Andrew,
Well, you've interviewed at the right place for the critical care fellowship
. Dr. Mihae Yu is a fantastic and yet fearsome director of the ICU. You will learn alot from her if you get the position. Queen's may not be as busy as some of the bigger cities, but we do get our share of critical care; mainly MVA
. Not much gunshot wounds
.
As for the WetOkole seat covers, they're stylish and water resistant. As for keeping sands off, well, they allow the sands to gather in one place, so that you can vacuum them when you get home
