problem with cholos is the parking isn't gonna be big enough for all of us. its hard enough to find one parking spot in that lot on a weekend.

I got an event going all day on the 27th, but the 28th is good for me. We can discuss the details this thursday at our 9/11 meeting.

 

just for those who don't know, i was not pulled over for speeding. it was part of a sting and the ticket i recieved was for not having a front license plate.

 

although a speeding ticket would have been cheaper than some of the tickets we did get!!

 

True. But they also have the lot on the backside across from the gift shop closer to the open field, that lot is usually empty. If we make it there in the afternoon on a Saturday/Sunday, we might be cutting it close though...

Our best bet is probobly the damn shrimp shack. Damn, Im gettin' hungry now

 

I understand what everyone is saying about the parking but that is what I said I would try to work out... if i approach them with the idea of a promo type situation... setting the stage as like a show and the attention we could draw for the business I am sure we would be able to get a section of the parking lot blocked off.

I just spoke with the Manager at Cholos, explained to him about the club and what we would like to do. After a couple of min on the phone with him he sounded pretty excited. He explained to me that he would have to get the Property Managers go ahead, but he said that Breakers has had similar things in the past and it shouldn't be an issue. After thursdays meet, I am going to fax him our plan (i.e. times, number of cars) and he will take it to the property manager. By the end of the weekend I should have the final go ahead.

No...After tonight we should have a better idea of the number of cars, times, and a set date. I am going to suggest doing it on the 27th, for a couple reasons. The first is the Manager at Cholos said Sun is their busiest day so getting the reserved spots will be easier on Sat. Another reason is Sun is a Family day for many, not to mention the members we might not have show up due to church activites. Personally I could do it on either date. What do you think?
