No fhrovlemo. But alot of your shot was out of focus, otherwise, they would have made some killer shots. It was too bad. Or maybe it could have been camera shake?

The fisheye useless? Guys, I promised Jamie a photoshoot, so it seems as though I'm whoring his car.

I think I had it on manual focus for most of the pics of my car (by accident, lol) but even on auto my camera doesn't focus nearly as well in low light as yours.

Nice. I don't know much about Canons, since she is a Nikon girl. She shoots with few D300s, but has been complaining that she needs to upgrade. Since I know very little about it, I just give her the stock, "Hmm." or "Oh yeah?" responses. ha ha /randomness. Nice pictures. The cars look good. Makes me understand just how badly I need to get out for some pictures.

I think the D300 is about the equivalent of Erwins D40. mines 1 step lower and 1 step older from that.

Hmm. I don't know about that. I thought the D40 is an entry level camera and the D300 is considered semi-pro. Not to mention the D40 is like a ~$500 camera and the D300 is ~$1600 body. Not that price means everything. Or does he shoot with a Canon 40D? Wow. Sorry. This is kinda off-track.

No matter what, a good picture is a good picture. How long did you guys shoot?

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, I shoot with a 40D and an Olympus e520. The D300 your chick has is a much better spec than the 40D, but the 40D is cheaper. The Nikon and Canon cameras have no real direct body comparable in price... which is no coincidence.

Sounds like your girl is a real pro. Believe me, this is just a hobby on my end. A hobby which I spend too much money, and too little time on.

Totally missed it. Haven't been on for a while due to work and my wife being sick. Just got my Alien Bee gear in, too. Looking forward to the next photoshoot.

Yeah. It's crazy how expensive the gear is. I really didn't know anything about it at all until I met her. I was blown away when she said that her everything in her camera bag was worth $15,000+. I guess it is understandable when you actually shoot for your job. A lot of the other guys she shoots with use Canon. I know some of her partner's Canon bodies are worth like 3x her D300. But as far as hobbies go, everyone has their vices and it seems like they're all expensive!
